  • 6 monthsThe concierge recommended it to me, so I bought the 0.5%. I thought I remembered using the 0.25% before too, but maybe I'm misremembering...? I bought the 0.5% around 4 or 5 years ago, when I had just started using ZO Skin Health, and I had quite a reaction to the vitamin A. Mainly redness and itching. Applying it all over my face made the itching too intense, so I only used it as a spot treatment on the areas that bothered me most. The scent is definitely unusual, but I think it's fine once you get used to it. I thought I wouldn't buy it again, but if I want something effective for dark spots and freckles + something that still causes a vitamin A reaction but is on the milder side (among ZO Skin Health products), I think the 0.5% is the one. This is an item I'm thinking of repurchasing for everyday use.
