Compared to the various gel masks I've tried, Essence → a lot Thickness → thick and heavy, so it slides down from the weight Time until it absorbs → one of the longest (around 4 hours. It might take all night) After taking it off → moisturized and bouncy, pores are gone That's how I'd describe it. The time it takes to absorb is a pretty big drawback, and back when I wasn't used to gel masks, I really hated the feeling of having something on my face the whole time, so I'd sometimes peel it off before it turned clear 😂 But I really love how my pores disappear after taking it off, so it's one of my favorites lol

VT CosmeticsReti-A Reedle Shot 100 2 Step Hydrogel MaskThis is one of my daily masks for days when I can take it easy at home. Unlike days when I just do my usual skincare routine, this is a gel mask I want to use when I have plenty of time. I use it for some leisurely relaxation time while doing my skincare after a bath. Since it's a hydrogel mask, it adheres snugly to my skin and doesn't slip much while I leave it on, which is great. It's a two-step type from the booster to the mask, and the recommended masking time is one hour, so I incorporate it into my routine when I'm in the mood to take my time with my skincare that day. When I take it off after leaving it on for a good while, my skin feels moist and hydrated, and even the dry areas seem smoother. I can wear it while watching videos or using my phone, so I also love that I can turn downtime into skincare time or care for my skin while doing little tasks. Rather than an everyday mask for when I want something quick, or time-saving care for busy days, this is one I'd like to use as a treat-like daily mask for days when I can relax at home, such as weekends or nights when I have no plans.

PurealMatcha Soothing Essence MaskThis is Pureal's new sheet mask 🍵 (September release) As always, it's packed with essence. It has a faint matcha scent. The essence is thick, so after removing the mask, it takes a little while to fully absorb. It feels refreshing and moisturizing. I also feel like it makes my skin look a little more translucent. I'm happy that it also contains Japanese and Chinese herbal extracts, so it helps care for irritated skin too.

MedihealDerma Serum Mask PDRNThe Derma Serum Mask line in general comes with a little less serum. It's not too little, but compared to other masks that are drenched in serum, it feels a bit lacking. It adheres really well. It doesn't slide down even if I move around while wearing it for about 20 minutes. The PDRN one is more moisturizing than the others and moisturizes thoroughly. But it also leaves more serum behind than the others, and my skin is oilier the next morning too. It's for people whose skin lacks oil and want an oil-based moisturizer.

KindStepBlackberry PDRN Reju Shot Collagen Gel MaskA collagen PDRN mask that lets you care for your neck too It adheres really well and didn't fall off even after wearing it for about 3 hours. It's moisturizing enough too. But after about 3 hours, the mask became bone-dry and I couldn't keep wearing it. It doesn't seem possible to leave it on while sleeping.

The texture is bouncy and slightly gel-like, so it's easy to apply. It also has a little bit of scrub in it. It feels slightly cooling while it's on your skin. But it feels even cooler after you rinse it off. If you gently rinse it off using the scrub, your skin feels bouncy.

The scrub particles are chunky like strawberry seeds and remove dead skin and dirt. I haven't seen much effect on dark pores, but I like it as a scrub mask because my skin feels plump and refreshed after using it.

Centellian24Expert Madeca Mela Capture Ampoule MaskI used this as part of my daily moisturizing routine, rather than on a day when I wanted extra-special care. It's a serum mask that provides brightening and moisturizing care, so I think it's an easy face mask to use regularly or during especially dry seasons. The sheet is thoroughly soaked in serum. It doesn't feel like there's too little liquid, and my skin feels well hydrated the whole time it's on. What stood out to me while using it was that the liquid feels more like a light emulsion than a runny serum. It didn't just feel fresh and hydrating—it left my skin feeling very moisturized. My skin still felt thoroughly moisturized after use, and compared to more refreshing sheet masks, this seems easier to use on days when dryness is a concern. Even on days when I don't have a particular goal in mind, it's easy to incorporate into my regular brightening and moisturizing routine, and I think it's a versatile mask that also works well for special care.

shaishaishaiAloe PDRN Cooling Gel Pad MaskI used both the Caffeine Shot and this PDRN one. The PDRN has a smooth, slippery gel-type sheet material with a gentle cooling sensation. It was nice for gently moisturizing and cooling my skin on days when I'd gotten a lot of UV exposure. I used it as is without putting it in the fridge, so it doesn't get ice-cold or anything, but on the other hand, I felt that might make it easy to use even for people who are sensitive to irritation. I'll probably use it more in hot weather than in the coming season 🦭🧊

MediCubeCollagen Night Wrapping MaskI don't think the product itself is bad, but it's hard to apply, takes forever to dry, and if it gets in your hair or something, it's such a pain to get out 😭😭 It makes your skin super moisturized, but if you use it on areas where oiliness is a concern, you'll break out, so I think it'd be tough unless you have dry skin or use it only on the dry areas of combination skin... If you have oily skin, you're better off skipping it.

I'm new to modeling masks, so I wondered if I'd be able to do it right, but you just mix it with water, so it was surprisingly easy◎ It's also fun to mix it yourself, apply it, then peel it off in one piece once it sets😂 Maybe because it's the tea tree type, it feels super cool and refreshing while it's on! It especially feels like something you'd want to use on a hot day or after a bath. But it starts setting pretty quickly after you mix it, so if you take your time, it gets hard to apply. The trick is to apply it all over your face quickly once you've made it. And the thing that bothered me most was the packaging. It's seriously so hard to open😂 I wish it were a little easier to open... I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to try a modeling mask without too much hassle, or anyone who likes that cool, refreshing sensation. EIOMTrouble Patch MaskA mask that removes sebum when you use it. It's a thick mask, so it's a little hard to fit it to my face. Especially around the nose. That's where I'm most concerned about sebum, but it won't adhere properly. Cutting it with scissors is a hassle. Still, I like that after using it, mainly on my T-zone, I can see the sebum that has been removed on the mask. Even after peeling it off, despite leaving it on for over an hour and the mask being dry, my skin itself still feels moisturized, and I like how it feels too.

FLORODORACalming Island Soothing MaskIt didn't work for my skin... I bought it to use as a cream before going to bed at night. The scent is a relaxing marine floral scent, and it smelled really good, so I liked it. The next morning after washing my face, my skin felt tight from dryness in a way I'd never experienced before. After that, I wondered if it was just a coincidence, so I waited a while and tried it again, but the result was the same. It's disappointing because I really liked the scent. It has a lot of plant-derived ingredients, and there were also a lot of ingredients I'd never used before, so maybe one of them just didn't agree with me...?
