As I've gotten older, something that's started bothering me more than before is feeling like my skin is “dry even though I'm moisturizing.” My skin gets especially oily in the summer, so my whole face feels greasy, but just the area from under my nose to around my mouth gets dry easily… Sometimes it feels dry immediately after doing my skincare thoroughly. Even when I layer on a highly moisturizing cream, only that area stays dry, leaving me like, “What else am I supposed to put on?” 🥹 That's when I added ONE BY KOSÉ Serum Veil Deep Repair to my routine. It contains the active ingredient Rice Power® No.11, which improves the skin's moisture-retaining ability. I use it all over my face immediately after cleansing, before toner. After that, I use toner → serum → emulsion only on the areas where dryness bothers me. That's about it in summer. What I realized after I started using it is that maybe what I was missing was care that helps my skin hold on to and retain moisture. It leaves my skin moisturized without feeling heavy, and the stickiness doesn't bother me either 🤍 My skin gets oily, but it's also dry in certain areas. It works so well for my combination skin, and now it's an essential first step in my skincare routine. I definitely want to keep using this ☺️

I love it so much that I was using it year-round, but honestly, the texture is pretty rich, so I took a break from it during the summer. Now that the seasons are changing and it's getting cooler, I've started using it again after a while! Even though the texture feels moisturizing, it doesn't leave much stickiness once I work it into my skin, and I love how it feels like it gives my skin moisture ♡ It's easy to use going into the drier months too, and it reminded me all over again, "Yep, I really do love this~"!

A milky white lotion with a slightly thick texture. It's lightweight for something on the thicker side, but still feels properly moisturizing, so I do like it. It's a toner, but it also kind of feels like an emulsion. It's not so amazing that I'm dying to repurchase it!, but I liked the texture and how it can be used year-round regardless of skin type.

No.3 Bifida Bakuchiol Zero Pore Serum

I bought the whole No.3 line because I wanted to smooth out my skin texture🛒💖 The serum is so thick and viscous that it forms strings, and maybe because I bought it in the summer, it felt heavy🥲 It also felt pretty sticky after applying, so if I were to use it, it would definitely be in winter!! That said, it made my skin feel incredibly plump, and the next morning my skin was super smooth🎶🎶 There are other products in the No.3 line, so if I repurchase, I think I'll try to get that smooth skin with something other than the serum😞

I absolutely love this serum—it’s such a favorite that I even purchase it through a subscription♡ I use it first thing in my skincare routine after washing my face. It has a rich, moisturizing texture, but blends into the skin really well and sinks in smoothly, so it’s easy to use◎ After continuing to use it, I personally feel like the crow’s-feet I’d been concerned about are less noticeable than before. Of course, I think results vary from person to person, but I’m happy that I was able to feel a difference through my daily care♡ It’s a multilayered liposome serum containing 1 trillion capsules in a single drop, and I also love that it provides age-appropriate anti-aging care. The gentle, alcohol- and oil-free formula is another great point! It has a tea green floral scent, but I didn’t find it particularly noticeable and found it easy to use. It’s a favorite serum that makes me feel like I want to keep using it forever♡

The texture is somewhere between a cream and a serum. Surprisingly, it feels lightweight yet moisturizing. It blends into my skin well and doesn’t interfere with my other skincare products. It’s easy to use in summer too. The ingredients are nice for sensitive skin, but when my skin was sensitive, it stung a little. Although it doesn’t contain fragrance ingredients that can cause allergies for the sake of sensitive skin, it has a scent like white florals, which I personally didn’t like (sweat). If that’s the case, I wish they’d just made it fragrance-free. I’ll keep using it for a little while longer.
