I LOVE the scent!! The luxurious fragrance is so soothing. The texture is slightly viscous, colorless, translucent, and fresh-feeling. It absorbs well into my skin and isn’t sticky. It contains 4MSK, a brightening ingredient (an original brightening active developed by Shiseido). This ingredient is a salicylic acid derivative and works more gently than salicylic acid. Since I usually use more brightening-focused serums and intensive serums like retinol, I felt this product was a little too mild and not quite enough for me.. But I think it’s a reassuring product that lets you brighten your skin while protecting it without putting stress on it. I love the scent and texture, so I might come back to it someday..
