Since the mist is so fine, it doesn’t leave my face soaking wet or form droplets, so I can replenish moisture without making my makeup run. I often use it to combat dryness before and after applying makeup. I mist it onto my puff before applying foundation, or mist it between foundation and powder, and it gives me a beautiful finish and a base that’s less likely to break down! I feel like this mist isn’t the kind that keeps makeup in place with a coating, but rather the kind that prevents makeup from breaking down due to dryness by adding moisture. It works well with semi-matte and matte foundations. It’s not that expensive either, so I plan to repurchase it!

IPSAThe Time Reset Aqua LotionIt’s a light, refreshing, watery toner. It feels incredibly fresh with zero stickiness, yet it still hydrates. It absorbs into the skin quickly, too. It also contains tranexamic acid and dipotassium glycyrrhizate, ingredients that help prevent skin irritation. Since it has a non-irritating, water-like texture, I think it’s suitable for all skin types. It’s easy to use with no strong quirks, so I can totally see why it’s so popular with everyone. By the way, I bought the trial-size mini bottle for 500 yen on @cosme ^_^ It’s hygienic and convenient to carry around!

Clé de Peau BeautéProtective Day EmulsionA fresh, lightweight daytime emulsion that spreads easily and doesn’t feel sticky. After applying, my skin feels plump and soft, with a firm, radiant finish! Using it before makeup helps it go on better, and my skin stays hydrated even after I’ve finished my makeup. Since it moisturizes, it also does a great job of preventing my makeup from getting dry and breaking up! I bought it thinking I’d use it when I want to put extra effort into my makeup, or when I want to use just a little emulsion for touch-ups. So I went with the mini size! It doesn’t take up much room in my pouch and is easy to carry around, so I’m glad I chose this size. Even though it’s the mini size, the bottle is cute, the scent is lovely, and it gives me a properly luxurious experience, so I’m extremely satisfied! It’s SPF 25, and I’m happy that it also provides sun protection!

Clé de Peau BeautéLong-Lasting Hydrating VeilAmong Clé de Peau Beauté’s primers, this one is specifically designed to prevent makeup from breaking down. Usually, primers are either smooth but drying, or moisturizing but sticky, but this one feels smooth while still being hydrating, so the foundation I apply afterward doesn’t get dry or sticky. It does crease a little when I sweat, naturally, but the creased areas don’t set hard and keep their smooth feel, so even if I blend them out carelessly, they quickly return to a clean, even finish—in other words, it breaks down beautifully and is extremely easy to touch up. For anyone who thinks, “Using a highly moisturizing foundation or primer when it’s not dry out sounds like it’ll turn into a goopy mess, and I just can’t be bothered…” this primer has the perfect balance of smoothness and hydration! This is the primer that has held up the best out of all the ones I’ve used.

Its absorption is amazing, and the effective ingredients—62% proprietary black koji ferment filtrate (over 470 beauty ingredients) + 37% multilayered bioliposomes—soak thoroughly into every corner of the deeper layers of the stratum corneum. When you use it right after cleansing, your skin absorbs it beautifully and completely, almost like it’s drinking it. The morning after using it at night, my skin looks plump, bouncy, and brighter! Even my wrinkles look lighter…!! I was thinking, “Wait, does my face look different…!?” I realized that this is what my skin looks like when it’s in good condition. Wow—I’m impressed。。 I think this is the kind of product that really makes you feel, “Now this is anti-aging care!” It is pricey, but I’m looking forward to seeing how much my skin changes—and whether I can maintain it—by continuing to use it, so I plan to keep going. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for anti-aging care!
