  • I’m always on the hunt for lip plumpers. The one I’m currently using is this Mac Cosmetics Lipglass Blow Plumping Lip Oil in Ginger Zinger. I get the impression that a lot of lip plumpers usually use chili pepper 🌶️, but this one has both chili pepper and ginger 🫚. I thought, “This has got to work, right!?” and bought it while nervously expecting my lips to hurt. But when I tried it, surprisingly, it didn’t hurt that much 👍 It doesn’t make my lips swell up, but they do look nicely plumper!! By the way… when I applied more, I felt the tingling kick in later. But it doesn’t hurt—this is the type of plumper that gradually makes your lips look bigger after you apply it. My overall impression was that it made my lips look just a little plumper than with regular gloss. I’m looking for a plumper that makes my lips look bigger without hurting or causing swelling, but I guess plumpers really come down to two choices: either making your lips swell or going all-in on that plump look. I think this is the kind of plumper that really goes all-in on the plump look ✨ I somehow plump up my lips by layering this plumper with a lip pencil and lipstick 🫶 My impression of Mac Cosmetics lip plumpers is that they’re pretty liquidy. Other than that, it really comes down to whether you like the scent or not!! Either way, since it’s a Mac Cosmetics product, it’s effective. It’s not like you’ll use it and think, “This is no good…” I’d recommend this one even to beginners with plumpers. That said, I think you should check the scent in a store if possible, since it’s probably a matter of personal preference.
