It is a little sticky, but makeup applies well over it, and I think it’s the perfect product for people whose skin agrees with heartleaf. There’s so much essence that after using all the pads, I was able to buy more pads and keep making them with the leftover essence. I liked how it kept my skin moisturized and hydrated. As someone who has used it for over a year, I don’t recommend using it every day, but if you put one on whenever you have a breakout, about twice a week, it really calms your skin down.

Abib Heartleaf Essence Pad Clear Touch Review Season used: Winter Usage period: 3–4 months Skin type: Dehydrated oily skin, adolescent acne-prone skin User: 9th-grade middle school student (There’s a summary at the very bottom.) I used it for about 3–4 months during the winter. I have dehydrated oily, adolescent acne-prone skin, so my skin does get dry in the winter, but it’s basically oily, so heavy skincare products don’t really work for me. The biggest downside while using it was that it felt too greasy for dehydrated oily skin. After using the pads, my skin looked really shiny and felt sticky, so personally, the finish felt heavy. Sometimes the excess oil even caused breakouts, so it didn’t work well for me. I feel like it might be fine for people with dry skin. I also felt like there was way too much ampoule in the container with the pads. It was nice that they were moisturizing, but the ampoule would sometimes run out when I took a pad out, which made them a little inconvenient to use. I was also disappointed with how well the container sealed. While using it, the ampoule leaked every time, so I had to be careful about storing it. However, people around me with dry skin said it worked fine for them and was good for calming breakouts when they used it. So if you have dry skin, it might actually work well for you because of the moisturizing feel and calming effect. If you have dehydrated oily, acne-prone skin like me, I personally don’t recommend it. The finish felt too heavy, and the shine and stickiness were intense, so I don’t think I’ll repurchase it. I usually struggle a lot with skin breakouts, so I tried all sorts of things before giving this product a shot, but first of all, while there’s a lot of essence, it’s way too greasy and sticky.. They say it helps makeup go on smoothly, so I used it and put on makeup right away, but it all pilled up, and it was so sticky that my hair kept sticking to my face. The next day, I noticed little bumps had popped up on my skin, so I stopped using it immediately.. I couldn’t tell any difference with the redness or soothing either, and I don’t think it works well for me.
