- 1) Use after skincare and base makeup. 2) Apply the lightest shade to the center of the cheeks with a brush or sponge, then blend upward. 3) Apply the medium shade to the hollow beneath the cheekbone and blend toward the ears. 4) Apply the deepest shade along the outer cheek line and blend naturally inward.
