This is a medicated brightening emulsion designed to be used before toner. I ended up buying it because I was drawn to the cute packaging design and the ingredients focused on brightening, including the skin-beautifying sugar ingredient “美肌糖” that helps create a translucent look, “Clarity Refiner,” a vitamin C derivative, and the anti-roughness active ingredient dipotassium glycyrrhizate. I use two pumps on a cotton pad after washing my face in the morning and at night. It feels quite moisturizing, and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. Maybe using the emulsion first helps with absorption, because the toner blended in beautifully without dripping all over the place! Sometimes it feels a little too moisturizing and heavy, so when that happens, I skip the cream. It’s cute to have in my room and lifts my mood, and I also like that it comes with a pump!
