    True to its name, this is somewhere between a gel and a cream. It felt light and moisturizing enough to use before makeup in the morning, and was easy to work with. It feels like it contains a fair amount of oil, so I think it’s better to blot with a tissue before starting your makeup. However, as a night cream, it doesn’t feel moisturizing enough, and by morning I notice dryness on my cheeks. It seems like it would be easy to use as a morning cream in spring and summer.
