  • Bought it because it was going viral on social media! I mainly use it around my nose and on my chin to exfoliate. It contains retinol, but since it's a face wash, it's easy to incorporate into my routine and handy when I want to give my skin a really refreshing cleanse. After washing, my skin feels less rough and pretty refreshed, without feeling more dried out than necessary. Rather than using it daily, I use it about 2-3 times a week as an extra step alongside my usual face wash whenever I'm concerned about roughness or dead skin buildup. I think it's an easy product to incorporate for anyone who's interested in trying retinol skincare, the so-called aggressive approach to skincare, but finds jumping straight into serums or creams a bit intimidating, especially if they're concerned about clogged pores.

  • I like at-home peeling products as a special treatment, so I bought this popular one to try as well. Since I've used retinol before, I didn't really feel much stinging or anything. It does feel like it clears out the gunk in my pores, and my skin feels refreshed after using it. I did my best to keep using it twice a week for about a month, but the result was more like, did the roughness on my chin improve a little? Maybe? But as a lazy person, wiping off all moisture before skincare, applying it, waiting a minute, and then rinsing it off again felt like a bit of a hassle, so I didn't really keep up with it after that... lol If the results were dramatic, I could probably make the effort, but it may not have been worth it. By the way, I have dry skin, so I always moisturized thoroughly right after using it.

  • Since it's a retinol product, I was a little worried it might be irritating, but it's gentle and doesn't sting when I wash, which is reassuring◎ I think I like how my skin feels smooth and silky after rinsing it off✨ It doesn't leave my dry skin feeling tight, so it seems like it'll come in handy for my nighttime exfoliation routine🌙
