Clé de Peau BeautéPoudre Compacte Essentielle N\Silky smooth without any dryness! Also works amazingly well with Voile Correcteur n/ I usually skip foundation and just wear primer + powder. For special occasions, I love using this as a set with Clé de Peau Beauté's Voile Correcteur n. What’s truly amazing about this powder is that it leaves the surface of my skin thoroughly silky smooth, yet I don't feel any dryness at all even as time passes. I've heard it contains some kind of technology that turns sebum into moisture to boost hydration, and it really does live up to that. I'm blown away by what a holy grail powder it is for keeping dryness at bay. The downside, though, is definitely the high price. I switch between the included puff and the brush sold separately depending on my mood and the finish I want, but when I apply it thoroughly with the puff, I feel like I go through it quickly, which makes me a little nervous. It's my "good luck charm makeup" that lifts my mood just by being in my makeup bag and that I can rely on for touch-ups in the late afternoon, but since it's pricey, I'm seriously torn between trying Elegance's Poudre next after I use this up or just repurchasing this one.

EleganceLa Poudre Haute NuanceThis is 09 (IX Luminous). It gives a delicate, elegant glow! The pearly radiance makes my complexion look so much brighter. And it has great coverage too! It blurs and corrects pores, uneven skin tone, etc. Applying it very lightly gives you amazing translucence. Since it has such high coverage, it can easily look too white or cakey, so using a brush to apply it lightly instead of a puff works nicely. It also does an amazing job of resisting breakdown and staying silky smooth, and it didn't budge even when I wore a mask in summer. It holds up well against sweat and oil. But if I finish my whole face with this powder, it can look too glowy and make areas with rough skin texture stand out in a bad way. So in my case, I use it together with other powders. I love how it gives a glamorous glow and a bright finish!

Perfect DiaryTranslucent Blurring Setting PowderThis is great when you don't want to ruin the look of your foundation's finish! It feels similar to the crystal version of NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder. It leaves your skin feeling more silky-smooth than the NARS powder. It might not be that great at preventing makeup from breaking down. The NARS powder felt noticeably better in that regard. It seems to depend on how good your foundation or primer is, so I wouldn't say this powder itself makes your makeup less likely to break down.. I don't notice any dryness in particular. The NARS powder feels a little tighter on my skin. I think it's a good powder and great value for money! It's one of those products that I really appreciate for its value when my foundation already performs well, when I'm only wearing sunscreen, or when I just really don't want to get shiny.

About ToneBlur Powder PactI bought both colors, white and black. I won't repurchase. I mainly bought these to keep in my makeup pouch for touch-ups. I know I should blot the oil before patting on powder, but I'm lazy, so I usually prefer to just apply powder directly. (lol) But when I applied this directly, the puff absorbed the oil already on my skin and got pretty gross within a day or two. So I tried applying it with a brush instead, but then barely any powder went on at all. And it didn't stay silky for long either—I was shiny again after a little over an hour. As for blurring pores, I wouldn't go so far as to say it gave me filtered skin✨, but I did feel like it blurred them somewhat. It might be good as a powder when doing your makeup in the morning. I buy pressed powder to carry around, so I felt like this product couldn't serve that purpose. The base makeup products from this brand had such high ratings on social media that maybe my expectations got too high. It's not exactly neither good nor bad...it leans a little more toward bad. (lol) I think I'll look for a different powder for touch-ups.

Clé de Peau BeautéPoudre Compacte Essentielle NThis powder has great coverage, yet still feels moisturizing. It goes on lightly without looking cakey, and softly blurs the skin to make it look beautiful. Even if you quickly dust it on, it gives a beautiful, translucent finish! What I really love is that it doesn't dry out my skin, but it's also resistant to breaking down. The finely milled powder feels moist and seriously doesn't dry me out! It stayed smooth and didn't break down even when I wore a mask. It also has a decent amount of coverage, so it's perfect for touch-ups. I also use the loose powder from Clé de Peau Beauté, but that one goes on more lightly and looks more natural. This one has more coverage and gives a more polished finish. I also feel like this one holds up better. Which one is better probably comes down to preference... I like products with coverage, so I guess I'm on team pressed powder. Also, the loose powder isn't convenient to carry around, so I think this one is better suited for touch-ups. The compact is metal with a beautiful gold-plated design. It also has a nice weight to it that feels luxurious. The packaging is cute, so it lifts my mood. The downside is the high price... For me, this is a very luxurious powder. Still, I felt it was worth the price. The texture, moisture level, and finish were all really good, so I think it's a masterpiece. I'd like to keep using it if I can... I purchased this using a beauty support grant from Viewduc. I'm happy I found such a lovely product. Thank you!!

ShiseidoBenefiance Brightening Skincare PowderI bought this because it was going viral for making your skin look beautiful. Right now I use it for skincare, when I sleep at night or go out with no makeup on. It definitely feels gentle on my skin, and even while I’m wearing it, it feels like it’s making my skin more beautiful, so I love it as skincare. It also makes my skin feel soft when I apply it. So far, this Shiseido powder is the only powder that gives both the plump feel of an emulsion and the smooth feel you get after applying powder. I recommend it as skincare. However, when I used it as a powder over my makeup, it started looking cakey on me right away, so I won’t repurchase it as a cosmetic. Especially since my skin tends to get dry in winter, the powder started separating before noon when I wore it during winter. I dust it on when I go out on no-makeup days, and it slightly brightens my skin tone and acts as a barrier for my skin, so I recommend it! But honestly, it’s a little pricey if that’s the only way you’re going to use it. I recommend it for anyone who wants to make sure their skin is fully cared for on no-makeup days!

EleganceLa Poudre Haute NuanceI picked up the new shade IX. The fine pearl particles are beautiful and give my skin a glowy finish! The glow isn't over the top, so it doesn't look flashy, and when I use it in the evening, it also gets rid of any dullness, so it's become a favorite of mine!! I've repurchased La Poudre Haute Nuance more than five times and always keep a backup on hand—it's one of my go-to powders! There's also a wide range of shades, so I think you'll find one you love 😊

EleganceLa Poudre Haute NuanceThe classic powder that comes to mind when you think of Elegance. I've tried all sorts of powders, but La Poudre really is the best! This is the one that convinced me! The powder itself is finely milled and blends into the skin, giving a blurring effect to pores and uneven texture. It's hard to make it look cakey even if you layer it, and using it to finish your base makes your skin look more polished. I use it with a puff, but if you want a more bare-skin look, applying it with a brush might be better...? It controls shine and stickiness without looking too powdery. It's not like it never breaks down at all, but it lasts well, and when it does break down, it does so nicely—rather than visibly settling into pores, it just gets a little shiny. It's also easy to use for touch-ups, so it's an essential powder in my makeup bag.

ShiseidoBenefiance Brightening Skincare PowderA skincare powder you can use before bed 🤍 My skin leans oily-combination in the summer, so I use this after my nighttime skincare whenever the sticky feeling from lotion or cream bothers me. A light layer of the finely milled powder leaves the surface of my skin smooth and comfortable. It's really easy to use for someone like me who wants to do a proper skincare routine but doesn't like going to bed with sticky skin ◎ I also love that it helps keep my pillow and hair from sticking to my face. I used to often wake up with a shiny face—or more like super greasy lol—but since I started using this, the surface of my skin still feels soft and smooth in the morning, which I really like. At first I thought, "Powder before bed?" but now it's an essential finishing step in my nighttime skincare routine ☺️

About ToneBlur Powder PactHmm, how should I put it... It looks pretty right after you apply it, but it doesn't last nearly long enough, and as time goes by, it really emphasizes your skin texture. When you first put it on, it seriously looks pretty, like your skin's been blurred. So I'm kind of on the fence about it.

NARS CosmeticsLight Reflecting Pressed Setting PowderI love it because it blurs my pores. When I use it, I use a puff instead of a brush. It leaves my skin looking smooth and feeling silky!

NARS CosmeticsLight Reflecting Pressed Setting PowderA natural, silky-smooth, translucent filter powder. Because it’s a clear, finely milled powder, it can keep building up and start looking cakey if you’re not careful. Apply it super thinly, as if polishing the skin, and it doesn’t look powdery—it gives a natural glow and translucence and looks really nice! Because it’s a translucent powder, it doesn’t brighten the skin tone that much. It also kind of blurs pores with the soft reflection of light. ・For people who want an absolutely silky-smooth finish ・For people who want to preserve the overall look of their base makeup, like their foundation or primer ・Especially for people whose base makeup has a glowy finish and who want to keep a natural glow I recommend it! I’m ↑, so I was satisfied. The more solid your foundation and concealer are, the more I think it softens the made-up look and makes your skin look as if it was naturally beautiful to begin with. On the other hand, I think it would also be good for people with beautiful skin who can get by with natural makeup (I’m not one of them, so I’m just imagining it, sob)

IPSASkincare PowderA skincare powder from IPSA that lets you comfortably take care of your skin even while you sleep. I use it at the end of my nighttime skincare routine by gently patting it on with the included high-quality, fluffy puff. Even when I use a heavy cream, the powder seals in my skincare really well, leaving my skin smooth and non-sticky while keeping it from drying out and maintaining that moisturized feeling. It’s sooo stress-free not having my hair stick to my face or neck! It’s more than enough to apply it only to my forehead, around my face, my T-zone, and my neck, and I can stay smooth and comfortable until morning. ・I want my skin to feel smooth after skincare ・I want to seal in my skincare ingredients ・I hate having my hair stick to my face and neck ・I’m concerned about friction against my bedding ・I don’t want my skin to dry out while I sleep ・I want whitening + skin irritation prevention care ↑ It’s recommended for people like this! I use it exclusively at night, but I’m extremely satisfied with this item.

About ToneBlur Powder PactAbout Tone Blur Powder Pact review (I didn’t take separate photos and lost them, so I captured this from my archived Stories, and it says “I have no money”!! 😭) Season used: Summer Period of use: 1 month Skin type: Dehydrated-oily, acne-prone teenage skin User: 9th-grade middle school student (There’s a summary at the very bottom) I tried using it for about a month during the summer. Since I have dehydrated-oily, acne-prone teenage skin, my skin tends to get shiny easily from sebum in the summer, so I often use powder. I tried this while looking for a product that could also cover uneven texture and pores. What I liked most was that it covered uneven texture and pores well. After applying the powder, my skin’s surface looked a little smoother, and my pores and fine bumps were somewhat concealed, making my complexion look neat and polished. I also liked that it brightened my skin tone moderately without making it look too white or chalky. Rather than making my skin dramatically brighter, it just made it look slightly more radiant, so it looked natural to me. However, when I used it in the summer, the staying power wasn’t particularly impressive. I could feel the oiliness coming back over time, and when I reapplied it several times while touching up my makeup, my base makeup sometimes started to lift or look dry. Also, I personally found the included puff disappointing. I didn’t like the puff, so I ended up using a different puff or a brush instead. The powder itself also tends to break easily, so I think you need to be a little careful when carrying it around and using it. Still, I was satisfied with how neatly it covered uneven texture and pores and naturally brightened my skin tone. However, considering its staying power in summer and how it performs when touching up makeup, there were quite a few disappointing aspects, so I don’t think I’ll repurchase it. Intention to repurchase ❌ [Summary] Pros: Covers uneven texture and pores well, moderately brightens the skin tone Cons: Disappointing staying power for summer use, applying multiple layers makes the makeup lift and look dry, disappointing included puff, breaks easily
