This is my favorite among drugstore mascaras. Even compared with mascaras in the 1,000- or 2,000-yen range, I prefer Majolica Majorca’s Lash Expander Dolly Curl Black. Also, I have monolids, but I think it makes lashes that blend easily with monolid eyelids. (I chose the most similar mascara from the same brand because the exact same product wasn’t available.) You can create a cute, doll-like, tightly curled upward curl ✨ There’s a side of the brush that can create clumped lashes, and when you use that side, your lashes become close to a clumped look, so if you then stick the lashes together, you get tightly curled, upward-curled lashes. (Of course, you need an eyelash curler or something similar.) The best thing about this mascara is that it doesn’t get clumpy in the first place. When it does, it immediately blends into the lashes and makes them black and long. Another selling point for me is that it never turns your lashes into a super-spiky mess halfway through.
