I struggle with acne, so this is my third bottle. I like the tea tree scent, but apparently people who don't like it really hate the smell. I can't be bothered, so I just put it directly on my finger and apply it. There's not much in the bottle, so I don't think it's very cost-effective... It works well on red, swollen pimples. It calms them down, so I often use it together with medicated acne cream. If you struggle with big pimples that get really red and swollen, I want you to at least give it a try.

Honestly, it is irritating. The smell is sharp, and it can sting and tingle, but it definitely has a strong calming effect, and I can feel the redness going down as soon as I apply it, so it's an oil I can't help reaching for when I have acne or inflammation. Even though it's called an oil, the texture is very runny, like a toner. If you're using it for the first time, be careful because it might sting, and avoid using it near mucous membranes.
