The built-in gua sha is convenient, but it falls a little short🥹 I'd been curious about it since it first launched, and thought collagen × retinol sounded like it'd be good for wrinkles and firmness! So I bought it from the official store. The cream is pretty rich and thick. It feels like it adheres well, and I use it in my nighttime skincare routine◎ But the container is also really stiff and hard to squeeze😂 There's only one small opening, so it takes forever for the cream to come out, which is low-key frustrating.... The built-in gua sha is convenient, but the curve is pretty pronounced. I wanted it to follow the wrinkles on my neck, but it didn't fit me very well, and I found it easier to use along my jawline. Hmm, if you already own a gua sha, maybe you don't need to go out of your way to get this all-in-one version? I like the idea, so I'd be happy if the container and curve were a little easier to use!

Retinol Gua Sha Cream

I bought it because of the hype, and it was actually pretty good! You can use the gua sha to drain your lymphatic system, so it kills two birds with one stone and feels refreshing. Using it before makeup makes my face feel a little more sculpted, which is nice. The cream is rich, but it spreads well, so it's easy to use. Even though it's retinol, I didn't feel much irritation. I'm not sure people who already own a gua sha really need this specifically, but I didn't have one, so it was nice being able to apply the cream & massage without using my hands.

I get a really intense retinoid reaction. But I definitely feel like it works. I started getting a mole? or some kind of dark pigmentation on my arm, and after applying this morning and night, it peeled and then disappeared. I also apply it to the wrinkles on my neck, but it causes quite a bit of redness and itching, so I use it once a week, or sometimes wait two weeks depending on how my skin is doing. So far, I haven't seen any noticeable effect on the wrinkles. The pigmentation on my face also seems maybe slightly lighter from using it just on those areas...? But I do feel like it promotes skin turnover more than other products. I'd recommend it to people who want to see results even if they get a full-on retinoid reaction! But I think people with sensitive skin should avoid it.

Madeca Cream Time Reverse

My favorite and the cream I repurchase the most out of all the Korean brands. Time Reverse is probably around the 7th generation...? I haven't used any of the earlier ones, so I don't know how they felt or anything. Above all, CICA's soothing effect is really obvious and easy to see. When I apply it while my skin is red, the redness goes right down the next day, so I trust it. It also feels lightweight, so I can use it all year round without any discomfort, but for my skin type, using this alone in winter feels a little iffy, so I think I'd want to layer a richer cream over it... I've used products from this brand other than Madeca Cream too, but this is the only one I want to repurchase and actually do.

Bought this hoping to improve the fine lines around my eyes. It didn't do much for the wrinkles under my eyes, so I've been using it to care for my pores and the wrinkles on my neck. The results aren't that dramatic, so I'm not sure whether I'll repurchase. But I think it's an easy-to-use retinol that doesn't cause any irritation!

I've been using this for years. It's meant for targeted use, but I also recommend it for neck care. When I use it, I can really feel that my skin is firmer and more taut. It feels moisturizing but isn't too heavy, with a texture that's slightly looser than a cream. It's easy to spread and easy to use. What I like is that it's less irritating than other retinol products. I recommend it when you want something you can use every day without too much irritation, but still want effective care.

Texture, feel, and scent It's a slightly unusual type that dispenses two creams, one yellow and one blue. It spreads smoothly and is more moisturizing than I expected. I didn't experience any tingling at all, and it didn't irritate my skin while I was using it. It feels much easier to use than most of the other retinal products I've tried. The scent isn't strong either, so it doesn't bother me. 3. My skin afterward / Results over time I kept using it for about a month, on both my face and body. My skin feels moisturized after applying it and doesn't dry out easily, and with continued use, my skin texture looks more even. I was especially bothered by how the skin on my body looked scaly when it got dry, but that's also less noticeable than before. This cream has a texture I'd want to use in fall or winter. It's heavy and firm, so the first time I used it, I was worried whether it would actually spread all the way over my skin (lol) It feels nice if you take your time and slowly work it into your skin, as if warming it with your hands! It smells like medicinal herbs, so it kind of feels like you're applying medicine to your skin. I got used to the scent the more I used it, and it kind of became addictive! Honestly, while I was using this cream, it felt moisturizing, but I didn't feel like it had any other particularly great benefits. But after I finished it and thought back on it later, I realized my skin didn't get irritated during that time. It doesn't sting either, so it's a cream I find myself wanting to use when my skin feels kind of itchy or unstable.

This is my third tube. I use it to prevent wrinkles around the outer corners of my eyes and on my neck. On days when I want my skin to feel a little firmer, I sometimes use it all over my face. I really like it because I can use it without any irritation. Maybe it’s because I keep applying it every night, but even now at age 30, the smile lines around the outer corners of my eyes don’t bother me. It doesn’t have any dramatic effects like making lines much less visible, but I plan to keep using it to prevent future wrinkles. They’re running a buy two, get one free campaign, so (as of September 2026) make sure you never throw away the boxes and save the barcodes.

This thing is HUGE!!! The price is totally bugged!!! This is THE lubricant for beauty devices!! Works great on its own too ◎ ✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼ I felt it was such a waste to use an expensive serum as a lubricant every time I used MediCube's Booster Pro, so I searched around for various gels, eventually found this one, and decided to buy it! I knew it was 300 ml, but when it arrived, I was like, “This thing is way too huge!!!” It's around ¥1,600 for 300 ml. I use my beauty device every morning and night, so I don't think I'll have trouble using it all up, but it looks like I won't have to worry about running out for quite a while. ✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼ Most importantly, it provides more than enough slip for the beauty device. It does start to dry out a little partway through, so I add more as needed. It doesn't disappear just because you add a tiny bit, which is great. If you dispense too much, it can run down your hand toward your arm, so I think using the right amount is key (you can even start with less). I thought it would be a fairly thick gel, but it turns liquid when warmed between your hands. So even a relatively small amount can be spread over your entire face in a sufficiently thick layer. It contains PDRN and eight types of peptides, and looking at the ingredients list, it also seems to contain niacinamide, so it appears to be a gel with skin-conditioning benefits rather than just a lubricant. ✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼ It feels a little tacky after using the beauty device, but it's within an acceptable range. If that bothers you, it might be a good idea to gently pat it off with a tissue or a warm towel. I apply a sheet mask and cream afterward, so I just leave it as is. I highly recommend it to anyone who uses a beauty device but doesn't want to go through serum too quickly by using it as a lubricant! The fact that you don't need to rinse it off, unlike other gels, is another big plus. Apparently, it can also be used on its own as a serum gel.
