To me, this feels like the original gel mask. Compared to the various gel masks I've tried, Essence → a lot Thickness → thick and heavy, so it slides down from the weight Time until it absorbs → one of the longest (around 4 hours. It might take all night) After taking it off → moisturized and bouncy, pores are gone That's how I'd describe it. The time it takes to absorb is a pretty big drawback, and back when I wasn't used to gel masks, I really hated the feeling of having something on my face the whole time, so I'd sometimes peel it off before it turned clear 😂 But I really love how my pores disappear after taking it off, so it's one of my favorites lol

This is one of my daily masks for days when I can take it easy at home. Unlike days when I just do my usual skincare routine, this is a gel mask I want to use when I have plenty of time. I use it for some leisurely relaxation time while doing my skincare after a bath. Since it's a hydrogel mask, it adheres snugly to my skin and doesn't slip much while I leave it on, which is great. It's a two-step type from the booster to the mask, and the recommended masking time is one hour, so I incorporate it into my routine when I'm in the mood to take my time with my skincare that day. When I take it off after leaving it on for a good while, my skin feels moist and hydrated, and even the dry areas seem smoother. I can wear it while watching videos or using my phone, so I also love that I can turn downtime into skincare time or care for my skin while doing little tasks. Rather than an everyday mask for when I want something quick, or time-saving care for busy days, this is one I'd like to use as a treat-like daily mask for days when I can relax at home, such as weekends or nights when I have no plans.

PurealMatcha Soothing Essence Mask
This is Pureal's new sheet mask 🍵 (September release) As always, it's packed with essence. It has a faint matcha scent. The essence is thick, so after removing the mask, it takes a little while to fully absorb. It feels refreshing and moisturizing. I also feel like it makes my skin look a little more translucent. I'm happy that it also contains Japanese and Chinese herbal extracts, so it helps care for irritated skin too.

Centellian24Expert Madeca Mela Capture Ampoule Mask
I used this as part of my daily moisturizing routine, rather than on a day when I wanted extra-special care. It's a serum mask that provides brightening and moisturizing care, so I think it's an easy face mask to use regularly or during especially dry seasons. The sheet is thoroughly soaked in serum. It doesn't feel like there's too little liquid, and my skin feels well hydrated the whole time it's on. What stood out to me while using it was that the liquid feels more like a light emulsion than a runny serum. It didn't just feel fresh and hydrating—it left my skin feeling very moisturized. My skin still felt thoroughly moisturized after use, and compared to more refreshing sheet masks, this seems easier to use on days when dryness is a concern. Even on days when I don't have a particular goal in mind, it's easy to incorporate into my regular brightening and moisturizing routine, and I think it's a versatile mask that also works well for special care.

My beloved No.3 mask! I use it when I'm worried about my pores. Maybe because it contains fermented ingredients, first-time users might feel a little tingling. Personally, when my pores are bothering me, I feel a fizzy tingling sensation (it doesn't hurt!), but when they're not, I don't feel any tingling. You can slather it on places other than your face too.

The CICA ingredients feel really great for soothing, and if I use a chilled Cica Daily Soothing Mask from the fridge in the morning before makeup, my makeup is less likely to break down, plus it cools my skin and helps reduce redness, so it's really good!!

VT CosmeticsReedle Shot 100 2 Step Balance Mask
A 2-step mask you can use as a set with Reedle 100. You just layer this mask on after using Reedle 100, so it's convenient being able to do the whole routine as a set. It's a 2-step mask where you apply the serum and then put on the mask, a tyPe like that. Personally, I've gotten used to it and don't feel any pain, but it's not a product with absolutely no irritation special at first, so it's also easy to try for anyone who's worried about the pain from Reedle Shot... whether you're testing out the serum-to-mask routine, and if you already use Reedle 100 regularly, it also seems convenient to take along when traveling or staying over. Reedle 100 and the mask come together as one set, so I personally love that you can do a 2-step routine without having to bring a bunch of different things.

This is the one when I want to flood my skin with moisture! It doesn't contain any weird irritants or harsh ingredients, so when I use it when I just need simple hydration care, my skin issues tend to clear up more easily. I also use it to soothe my skin when I've overdone it with intensive skincare, and when I don't want my makeup to dry out the next day, using this at night and a vitamin C mask in the morning gives me the best makeup application and staying power. It's a mask I often take with me when I travel, and when I go to Korea, it's usually cheap with a 1+1 deal, so I always stock up. I'll keep repurchasing it. It's great value too!

I use this as a special treatment when I have an event or plans to go out the next day. The sheet is soaked with plenty of serum and adheres firmly when you place it on your skin, but since the sheet is large, I recommend making a few cuts so it fits the size of your face perfectly! It's easy to relax while wearing it, and the sheet doesn't really feel like it dries out even if you leave it on for a while, so after I remove it, there is still serum left on my skin, which I pat in with my hands. After use, my skin feels fresh, hydrated, and moisturized. It doesn't leave a strong sticky feeling, so it's easy to incorporate into the rest of my skincare routine. It's also easy to use when I want to prep my skin before applying makeup the next day, and it's a mask I reach for the day before an event or important plans.

My makeup goes on and lasts sooo much better, and I call this the mask that blasts away dullness and gives you instant clarity.

This is a sheet mask I use as part of my daily skincare routine when my skin is acting up or when I'm concerned about redness. The sheet adheres snugly to my skin and is soaked in plenty of essence. It's very moisturizing and feels like a special-occasion mask. There's plenty of serum, so it might be good for people with dry skin, but it felt a little heavy for my more oily skin. Mediheal's PDRN Daily Mask suited me better.

I use this as one of my daily sheet masks. I think the scent may not be for everyone, but you can really enjoy it while the sheet is on your face, and I personally really like this fragrance. Since I can enjoy the scent while doing my skincare, this is a mask I reach for on days when I want to take my time with my routine. After using it, my skin feels moisturized, like it's had a boost of hydration. It's easy to add to my usual skincare routine when I'm concerned about dryness. It's a mask I want to use in addition to my regular skincare on days when I want to get my skin in good condition!

It’s called a 3-hour mask for a reason, so rather than using it daily, I use it as a special treatment when I have plenty of time or have an event the next day! It has that plump, thick texture unique to gel masks and adheres well, so I recommend using it while doing other things and enjoying some time to relax. It’s the type I’d want to use when my skin isn’t doing well and I have time for some thorough care, or on nights when I want to properly make time for skincare, and since it can be used for up to 8 hours and apparently can be worn while sleeping too, maybe it could also be used while napping during travel, or layered with a silicone mask on top while sleeping…? That might work!

It adheres really well, but doesn't drip much, so it's easy to use. Mediheal masks are affordable and easy to use, but even among them, this one comes with four masks and the sheets feel substantial, so it might be perfect as a treat-yourself mask. Would repurchase!

It’s not like a regular sheet mask or anything—the waffle🧇-like material is really interesting! With gel-type masks, I feel like you get that “it’s really covering my skin” feeling, but this has a totally different kind of adherence. I wouldn’t say I absolutely have to repurchase it!, but it’s a handy item to have around.
