Azelaic Acid 15+ Intense Calming Serum

This is a high-concentration serum with 15% azelaic acid + cica. Personally, this Anua serum wasn't that great for me. It feels a little sticky, and I like a smooth, non-sticky finish, so that was disappointing. You could call it moisturizing, but I apply a moisturizer afterward, so I'm not looking for hydration from azelaic acid.. What I expect from azelaic acid products is “dark spot prevention,” “acne prevention,” and “prevention of skin irritation (soothing).” Since it's highly concentrated, I expected it to be effective for those things, but the stickiness also felt a little itchy, so it didn't really suit me. It also contains cica ingredients, but I didn't notice anything in particular from them.. Honestly, I thought it would be fine without them. By the way, it didn't crystallize while I was using it. Medicube crystallizes pretty heavily, so it gets powdery. I actually like that powdery feel, so Medicube wins for me (maybe that's an unusual preference..).

I used this to brighten my skin tone and help with dark spots and dullness. Honestly, I didn't really notice much of a visible effect. The texture is light and not too sticky, but sometimes it did feel a little tacky. It doesn't feel all that moisturizing. Rather than giving dramatic results, I think it's the kind of product you use long-term and hope to see gradual changes with.

I've been using this for about two years. I love how it makes my skin feel plump and keeps it from drying out as easily. I also tried the Light version from the same line, but this one worked better for me. They're supposed to be equally moisturizing, but I feel like this one not only gives a better finish, but also keeps my skin feeling more moisturized as time passes. For some reason, my skin would sometimes feel a little off when I used the Light version, so now I stick with this one. I use it year-round, usually at night, and in the morning when I'm concerned about dryness. I recommend it if you like a plump feel and a moisturized finish.

I bought this in Korea because it was going viral on X💰 It has a lightweight texture that absorbs well into the skin, and I really like how it doesn't feel sticky. The large size means I can use plenty without worrying, and I think the great value for money is a major plus! It didn't cause any irritation, and my skin stayed in good condition while I was using it👍🏻 But for someone with extremely dry skin like me, this alone didn't feel quite moisturizing enough😭 It absorbs quickly and leaves the surface feeling refreshed, so it's just right for summer or before applying makeup in the morning since it isn't sticky, but during the dry season, I'd want a little more moisture. I recommend it for lightweight hydration or as a booster serum!

This is a favorite that I keep repurchasing. It's watery and lightweight, but it sinks right in and feels like it really hydrates from within, and dryness and roughness don't bother me anymore!! It's not sticky, so my makeup doesn't crease even when I use it before doing my makeup in the morning, and I feel like my skin's moisture level has gone up a lot, so I highly recommend it for anyone with dehydrated skin!!✨️ It's fragrance-free and doesn't sting, so I can use it without worrying even when my skin is sensitive! Honestly... I won't be repurchasing this. I bought it because it's Centella's anti-aging skincare line, and I'm right in my late twenties. The texture is much richer than the super popular Centella ampoule and feels almost like an emulsion. But that's really all there is to it. It feels like I'm applying an emulsion with absolutely nothing in it. It doesn't really feel like it sinks into my skin either... I personally didn't notice the firmness or tightening I'd expect from an anti-aging skincare line. It might've been better if it had a few more ingredients. Well, at least it didn't cause any irritation, so I guess that's this brand's selling point. I might reach for it when my skin is acting up but I still want to add something extra to my routine. Still, I didn't think it had to be this particular product.

I used to use this. At the time, there still weren't that many hyaluronic acid serums, and this one was getting buzz for being good before makeup, so I bought it! It's not particularly bad, but I don't feel like there's any reason it has to be this one. It's not like it isn't moisturizing, but it wasn't moisturizing enough to make me feel like, wow, my skin is so hydrated! There are lots of other hyaluronic acid serums now, so I'm using other ones.
