COSRXThe Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care SerumI use this around my period or when I get acne, and since I haven't gotten any noticeable acne scars since I started using it, I wonder if that's thanks to this? It seems to work on dark spots, freckles, and skin clarity too, but I don't use it every day, so I can't really say. Also, I use it specifically for its soothing effect, so it's not particularly moisturizing or anything. I think it's good to apply it to my skin as a precaution when my skin is acting up, then get moisture from other skincare products. I'll keep counting on its soothing effect!

COSRXThe Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care SerumI tried it because it seemed like it might help with melasma and skin redness, but after one bottle, I couldn't really tell if it had any effect. In a good way, it barely feels like anything on the skin, so I think it works fine slotted into a routine like toner → this → other serums. It does feel a little sticky, but not enough to really bother me. It didn't irritate my skin, so it's not that it doesn't agree with me, but I guess I won't know unless I keep using it a little longer... I'd seen a lot of promos that made it seem like it would work quickly, so it was a bit of a letdown. There are other products I'm interested in too, so I'm not considering repurchasing for now.

MediCubeTXA Niacinamide 15% SerumI used this to brighten my skin tone and help with dark spots and dullness. Honestly, I didn't really notice much of a visible effect. The texture is light and not too sticky, but sometimes it did feel a little tacky. It doesn't feel all that moisturizing. Rather than giving dramatic results, I think it's the kind of product you use long-term and hope to see gradual changes with.

CliniqueEven Better Active Booster SerumA brightening booster serum. Since it's medicated, I think it's easy to use even for people like me who are prone to acne. I have oily skin, and overly rich textures give me comedones, so I prefer something this lightweight. And a lot of lightweight products tend to have weaker ingredients, but this one actually does its job as a serum, so it's one of my favorites. As I kept using it, I could tell that my skin looked clearer in the morning. It's a little too expensive for me to buy every month, so 4 stars. But if I were rich, I'd want to keep several backups on hand.

FATUITEBrightest First EssenceIf fermented skincare works for you, definitely buy this! First, the fact that it's a spray even though it's a first-step serum. So good. With a first-step serum, you have to get out of the bath, dry your body, wrap your hair in a towel, dry your face, go to the sink, dispense it into your hand, and apply it. Doesn't that take quite a few steps and a fair amount of time? Since this first-step serum is a spray, it's practically hands-free! (Though you do need a finger to press the pump) If you leave it within reach in the changing area, you can spritz it on in one second as soon as you get out of the bath! Skincare with convenient features like this often doesn't actually perform that well, but this one properly does its job as a serum too! It might be pretty rich for a first-step serum? It leaves my skin so plump all by itself that I feel like it could even be used as a regular serum. With how easy it is to apply and how good the formula is, this is a product I definitely want to repurchase. I do occasionally see people who don't get along with fermented ingredients, but I'd recommend it to everyone else. This is the only product I've used from FATUITE, but it was so good that it made me want to try their other products too!

Hada LaboMelano CC Vitamin C Premium EssenceThis is seriously a serum I've been using forever! Ever since I first started using vitamin C skincare, this has been what comes to mind when I think of vitamin C. It seems like some people find it irritating, but I don't feel any irritation in particular, and I use about 10 drops on my whole face. It's also great value and lasts surprisingly long because it takes forever to run out! This is a little hack, but when I'm bothered by sebaceous filaments or clogged pores on my nose or other areas, I apply a generous amount of Melano CC Vitamin C Premium Essence to the area, leave it on for about 5 minutes, then rub it with a cotton swab soaked in Melano CC Vitamin C Premium Essence, and a shocking amount of gunk comes out! lol I don't know how it works, but it's so satisfying how much comes out, and I can do it with something I already have on hand, so I do it regularly.

manyoGlutathione 7 Dark Spot SerumI got this as PR, but it was better than I expected, so I bought it with my own money🫧 It feels moisturizing and seems to make my skin feel plump☁️ I'm concerned about acne and dullness, so I want to keep using it a little longer and see how it works🪄

manyoGlutathione 7 Dark Spot SerumI initially received this item as PR, but it felt so nice to use that I bought it myself, and I'm currently on my third bottle💛 It doesn't have that distinctive glutathione smell at all, and despite how it looks and how thick it feels when you dispense it, it blends into the skin unbelievably well. I think it's a glutathione serum you can use all year round🫶🏻 I'm happy because I feel like a lot of glutathione products tend to feel pretty heavy🎶 Since it has some thickness, just the right amount stays on the surface of the skin, and it feels moisturizing too, so it seems like it'll be really useful in fall and winter as well🫣💖 I've been reaching for it especially often lately as part of my end-of-summer skincare routine🎶

Hada LaboMelano CC Vitamin C Premium EssenceSince you can dispense it one drop at a time, it was great for storage and hygiene, but I found it a little sticky! I'd recommend using it just on areas where your pores are a concern!
-
manyoGlutathione 7 Dark Spot Serum PatchA bouncy gel patch The gel? inside is pretty sticky and stays on your skin, but it absorbs while you have the patch on, so it doesn't bother me. The patch adheres well and doesn't slide off once applied, so I use it while towel drying my hair and stuff. It doesn't smell like glutathione either, so I can keep it on for a long time.

manyoGlutathione 7 Dark Spot SerumCompared to the brand's Galac Niacin Essence, this has a thicker texture. It still feels moisturized after it absorbs into the skin. It might be a little too moisturizing for people who prefer lightweight, watery products. It contains glutathione, but it doesn't have that distinctive glutathione smell, so I'd recommend it to people who don't like the smell but still want to use glutathione!

COSRXThe Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care SerumI tried using this because I wanted my skin to look more radiant. The serum is so runny that it drips down when you put it on your skin, but as you work it in, it leaves a slightly tacky finish. I haven't noticed a definite improvement in radiance, but I like how it feels, and my skin somehow seems to be in better condition the next day, so I keep repurchasing it.

Re:denceTone & Spot Corrector AmpouleI’ve been consistently using the Re:dence Tone & Spot Corrector Ampoule because I was concerned about dark spots and acne marks. The formula is lightweight and moisturizing, so it was great for daily use, and I liked how it absorbed into my skin with a fresh, non-sticky finish. It was especially good for focusing on areas where dark spots were a concern, and the generous size meant I could apply it generously without worrying! I’m going to keep using it to care for both my dull skin tone and dark spot marks✨

Hada LaboMelano CC Vitamin C Premium EssenceI’ve repurchased this at least 10 times. After trying all kinds of products, from expensive ones to affordable, highly rated ones, I’ve come to the conclusion that this is the best after all. It has that pleasantly warm feeling when you apply it that you only get with vitamin C, and I can’t live without it.

manyoGalac Niacin 2.0 EssenceThis is a ma:nyo essence I’ve been repurchasing forever! I’ve recently started using 3.0 and am comparing it with this one, but just like the toner, it’s the kind of serum you only notice once you stop using it. It has a completely lightweight, watery texture that you can apply generously, and it doesn’t cause breakouts or feel sticky and uncomfortable at all! I love using it as a first-step serum (booster). It also contains niacinamide, so I love how well it works with the rest of my skincare. Especially recommend it if you have oily skin! A daily booster you’ll want to use every day

Re:denceTone & Spot Corrector AmpouleIt was going absolutely viral and I’d been curious about it, so I gave it a try ♡ I used it morning and night, and it was easy to use since it didn’t sting or feel irritating, and wasn’t sticky either ◎ It had a rich, lotion-like texture and felt like it blended easily into my skin. A serum called the “eraser ampoule” ✨ with 5% niacinamide, said to target dark spots, dullness, hyperpigmentation, and more. I continued using it, but honestly, I didn’t really notice much of an effect on my dark spots or dullness…🥲 It felt nice to use, so I was a little disappointed since I’d been expecting more. It might be good for anyone looking for a gentle, easy-to-use serum, but I won’t be repurchasing it 🥲

DecorteHydra Clarity Brightening Essence WaterI used to use Decorte’s Hydra Clarity Medicated Treatment Essence Water, but this time I switched to the brightening type♡ The texture is light and watery, and it feels like it sinks right into my skin. I don’t like anything sticky, so I really love how lightweight it feels◎ My skin is prone to breakouts, but so far it’s been calm and easy to use. It also helps prevent dark spots and freckles, so I’m planning to keep using it as part of my UV protection going forward✨ Compared to the previous Hydra Clarity, the scent is a little stronger, but it’s a lovely floral fragrance, and I liked it🌸 It moisturizes while also helping improve skin clarity, so it’s a great product for anyone whose skin is prone to breakouts but who still wants brightening care!

-
TorridenCellmazing Brightening AmpouleI liked how the sheet mask I bought at a convenience store felt on my skin, so I bought the ampoule too! I feel like it helps with dullness and pores. It’s vitamin C-based, but it doesn’t sting at all, so it’s easy to use. If anything, I felt like it worked better when I used the sheet mask, so it might be better to use it with a mask that you soak with toner yourself or with toner pads to really let it absorb into your skin?

-
MediCubeTXA Niacinamide 15% SerumIt's a lightweight serum, and I noticed a clear brightening effect. It's my favorite tranexamic acid serum, and once I start using it, I feel like my dullness disappears. I apply it to my neck too, so it's really useful.
