AlbionStudio Milk FoundationI was lost when it came to foundation for about six months, and this is the one I finally bought🩷 Before this, I was using a DIOR foundation. The shade matched me really well and I liked it, but some days it felt a little drying, so I spent about six months looking for something that would be a bit less drying. During that time, I tried samples of various foundations I was curious about, like DECORTÉ Zen Wear, SK-II, and SHISEIDO. Out of all of them, the one whose feel I liked best was Albion's Studio Milk Foundation! It glides on thinly and smoothly, yet it naturally covers the imperfections that bother me. Rather than thoroughly concealing everything for a perfected look, I prefer how it leaves a thin veil that makes my skin look beautiful. And what I especially liked was how it doesn't dry out my skin easily and how my skin doesn't feel stressed after removing it. My skin is thin and prone to dryness, so I'm really happy that it feels less "tired" after I remove my foundation. After trying all sorts of things for six months, I finally found one that made me think, "I'd buy the full-size version of this"🩷 So far, it's definitely a favorite!

AlbionStudio Fine Silky QuartzI was looking for a powder that would softly blur my pores since they bother me, and I saw this recommended on social media, so I bought it. I got the yellowish one. I compared it with the pink one, but the pink added quite a lot of color to my complexion. There was also a blue one, but if it adds color in the same way, wouldn't it brighten your complexion quite a bit? An overly pale face doesn't suit me, but people who want to look as pale as possible might like it. I'd been using a powder that cost over 10,000 yen, and I felt like that one didn't do much to blur pores, so compared to that, this one seems fairly effective. But maybe I'm applying it wrong? Or using too much? I can't really tell much difference between this and powders in the 1,000-2,000 yen range. The powder itself feels cheap. Then again, the refill is 4,000 yen and the case is 1,000 yen, which is pretty cheap for a department store brand, so maybe the contents are the same as something in the 1,000-2,000 yen range. I bought the refill + case because I thought I wouldn't be able to use it without the case, but the refill comes with a lid, so you can carry it around and use it just fine. Only people who want a container with the Albion logo need to buy the case. I haven't had it for long yet, and I haven't experimented with how to apply it or spent a full day outside wearing it, so I'll see how it wears and how long it lasts before deciding whether to repurchase. Right now, I'm 50/50. It's not like I absolutely have to use this one, but well, it is cheap.

ClarinsFix' Make-UpThe mist is super fine, and it binds with the makeup to keep it in place, so my makeup really does last longer and is less likely to crease. It works well enough that I can definitely tell the difference between when I use it and when I don’t, so it’s one of my favorites! It has a faint rose scent 🥀 I also love that it contains lots of skincare ingredients, so it cares for my skin while keeping my makeup in place. (It doesn’t feel moisturizing enough to make me think, “Wow, my skin feels so hydrated~,” but it’s nice that my makeup doesn’t crack from dryness)

DecorteLoose PowderI always use this after foundation, and it gives natural coverage without making my face look white, so it’s really useful ☺️ Also, foundation alone can sometimes start to separate, but applying the powder helps keep it from breaking down!

DecorteLoose Powder▶︎Decorte Loose Powder ✂-------------------- \A light-diffusing face powder that melts right in/ The moment you apply it to your skin, it feels airy and light yet still moisturizing, with absolutely no powdery look✨ It naturally blurs pores and fine lines too, giving you a finish that looks like you put on a soft-focus filter. 00 translucent gives an elegant glow and makes your skin look brighter. I was worried that powder would make my skin look powdery, but that didn't happen at all💜 It doesn't break down easily even after hours, and I'm so happy that it doesn't crease much even when I'm wearing a mask🥹 The case feels so luxurious too, just as you'd expect from a department store cosmetic💎 When my makeup looks good in the morning, my mood is different all day, so it really made me realize how important base makeup is. I've only ever used tinted powders before, but this gives your skin a naturally translucent look, so if you haven't tried it yet, I definitely want you to give it a go🫶

ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30This seems like it would suit people who like light coverage and a natural, bare-skin finish. The coverage isn't all that high, so it's reassuring to use concealer as well on areas that bother you. Especially when I was concerned about my pores, I found it a little difficult to cover them with this alone. It didn't look too bad as it wore off, but I did get the impression that it breaks down more easily in summer or when you sweat. The dewy, moisturized glow looks beautiful, so I felt it would be good for people with dry skin or as a winter makeup base.

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationAlbion, known for its pre-lotion emulsions, came out with an emulsion-inspired foundation, so I gave it a try ♡ It's so fresh and hydrating that it's labeled a "foundation/daytime emulsion," and it leaves your skin with a "milky glow," almost like it does right after skincare. I also love that you can use it without a primer, and it has solid coverage too, so I had no complaints ◎ With dry skin, some foundations can make it look flaky or parched and even make you look older, but this didn't do that at all, so it's a favorite of mine ♡ With this level of moisture, I thought it would be even easier to use during the colder months when dryness is more of a concern.

TFITTranslucent Set Essential Powder( This is one I've repurchased.) Finish your makeup & touch it up while feeling cool anytime, anywhere🫶🏻 Cooling effect🧊 Cools down the heat in your skin It also covers skin redness and since it's an ultra-fine powder, your skin stays silky smooth and it also helps your makeup last⭕️ I get hot easily, so I was amazed the first time I used it✔︎

EspoirMakeup Bonding PrimerIt’s really great as a primer under cushion foundation! It has a glue-like texture, and when you spread it out, it dries just enough to help the foundation adhere beautifully. It’s also very moisturizing and doesn’t break up from dryness. As for oil and sweat, it’s neither good nor bad... I did wonder if it might be a little heavy for summer. I feel like it looks better and lasts longer in cooler weather. I was more like, wow! when I used it as a primer for cushion foundation than when I used it under liquid foundation. Once you spread it out, it dries to some extent and creates a smooth, flat surface, so if you apply the foundation from there without letting the two mix, it goes on beautifully. I feel like its main role is to create that flat surface. The pump dispenser also makes it easy to use!

DecorteLoose PowderThe super popular Decorte Loose Powder in shade 101 It's one of my favorite powders! The four types of powder softly blur pores and dullness, leaving skin with a natural glow and clarity. I have oily skin, but it keeps the surface of my skin smooth and silky, and even when my makeup breaks down over time, it still looks nice! The powder has a moist texture, so I feel like it adheres well too. I usually use it as a finishing layer over liquid foundation or cushion foundation. I also like it for quick outings because applying it over sunscreen gives my skin a soft, beautiful look! The puff is nice and fluffy, and I love that it lets me apply plenty of powder. I recommend working the powder into the puff first, then gently applying it to your skin for a beautiful finish. I bought it a year ago and alternate between this and the same Decorte Loose Powder in shade 00 depending on the day, but I still have plenty left. At first, it might feel a little expensive! But it's very cost-effective. Decorte powders come in so many varieties that it's hard to choose, but if you're unsure, I recommend this one ⟡.·

TFITTranslucent Set Essential Powder01 White & 00 Glow I also have the Finishing Powder, but the Finishing Powder is super silky and ultra-fine, for summer and oily skin. The Essential Powder is softly silky and finely milled, so I felt like it might work well for just about everyone? 😌 It's not super moisturizing, so I'd also recommend it for people with dehydrated skin, combination skin, or anyone worried about dryness from air conditioning... ⭕️ Seems easy to use year-round Controls stickiness and shine while giving you soft, silky, semi-matte skin 00 Glow contains pearl particles that softly blur pores while adding a glowy finish, like you've applied highlighter✨ It's also cute layered on the high points of your cheeks as a highlighter👌 Seems like it'd look great in photos at dimly lit restaurants or cafes📸 Is White fragrance-free, maybe? Glow has a floral-like scent I think I'll use the Essential Powder whenever it's not summer☺️

Clé de Peau BeautéPoudre Compacte Essentielle N\Silky smooth without any dryness! Also works amazingly well with Voile Correcteur n/ I usually skip foundation and just wear primer + powder. For special occasions, I love using this as a set with Clé de Peau Beauté's Voile Correcteur n. What’s truly amazing about this powder is that it leaves the surface of my skin thoroughly silky smooth, yet I don't feel any dryness at all even as time passes. I've heard it contains some kind of technology that turns sebum into moisture to boost hydration, and it really does live up to that. I'm blown away by what a holy grail powder it is for keeping dryness at bay. The downside, though, is definitely the high price. I switch between the included puff and the brush sold separately depending on my mood and the finish I want, but when I apply it thoroughly with the puff, I feel like I go through it quickly, which makes me a little nervous. It's my "good luck charm makeup" that lifts my mood just by being in my makeup bag and that I can rely on for touch-ups in the late afternoon, but since it's pricey, I'm seriously torn between trying Elegance's Poudre next after I use this up or just repurchasing this one.

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur N\The ultimate primer for going foundation-free! A holy grail I've been repurchasing for 4–5 years/ I usually go foundation-free and finish with just primer + powder, and my main skin concerns are dryness and dullness. I love using d'Alba sunscreen for everyday wear, but for my base makeup on “special days,” like weekends or when I'm going out, I always use this Clé de Peau Beauté Voile Correcteur N. When I apply it, it naturally brightens and smooths out my skin, blurring uneven tone and dullness and making my whole complexion look even. It doesn't completely cover large dark spots or acne scars, but I absolutely love how it makes my bare skin itself look more beautiful. My skin doesn't feel dry at all during the day, and the moisturized feeling lasts. It spreads really well, so when I use it mainly on weekends, one tube lasts me about a year. It does come with a luxury beauty price tag, but considering how long it lasts and the finish, it's an investment I can justify. I've loved and used it for the past 4–5 years, and it's definitely a must-have I want to keep using.

DiorForever Skin Correct Concealer\A must-have for the no-foundation crowd! An excellent concealer that covers with just a tiny amount and doesn't dry out/ I usually skip foundation and finish my base makeup with “primer + powder only,” but I love using this to spot conceal whenever I'm worried about breakouts. My personal color is warm autumn, and my skin is on the slightly lighter side, so I use 1N. It's just a tiny bit lighter than my natural skin tone, but it blends in without looking out of place and gives me solid coverage. What I love most is that a tiny amount gives great coverage, and even though it covers really well, it doesn't dry out easily. It spreads well, so you really only need a tiny amount, and since I don't use it that often, it lasts forever. It may look pricey at first since it's a department store brand, but I feel like it's actually very cost-effective in the end. I think I'll repurchase it when I run out! (Though I can't imagine that ever happening...lol)

EspoirMakeup Bonding PrimerEspoir Makeup Bonding Primer Recently, it's my #1 cosmetic I can't live without It has a sticky, glue-like texture, and it feels like it helps makeup go on better and makes foundation adhere better It's clear, so for me, a separate color-correcting base is a must It adds another step, but it's an item I absolutely can't skip Even by the evening, the makeup around my mouth hadn't broken up from dryness, amazing

DecorteLoose PowderThis is one of my favorite powders. It has a lightweight, moist texture and leaves my skin silky smooth. 101 has a beautiful glow, and the way it catches the light softly blurs and covers dullness, uneven tone, and pores. It's amazing how it looks beautiful even when I just slap it on without much thought.. Since the powder is moist, it's less likely to break down from dryness. It also holds up well against sweat and oil, and while it isn't completely budge-proof, it still looks nice as it wears off. It's a versatile powder that leaves your skin looking naturally beautiful and translucent, so I recommend it.

EleganceLa Poudre Haute NuanceThis is 09 (IX Luminous). It gives a delicate, elegant glow! The pearly radiance makes my complexion look so much brighter. And it has great coverage too! It blurs and corrects pores, uneven skin tone, etc. Applying it very lightly gives you amazing translucence. Since it has such high coverage, it can easily look too white or cakey, so using a brush to apply it lightly instead of a puff works nicely. It also does an amazing job of resisting breakdown and staying silky smooth, and it didn't budge even when I wore a mask in summer. It holds up well against sweat and oil. But if I finish my whole face with this powder, it can look too glowy and make areas with rough skin texture stand out in a bad way. So in my case, I use it together with other powders. I love how it gives a glamorous glow and a bright finish!

-
ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30It's a very sheer foundation without much coverage, so I think any unevenness will stand out unless you use it when your bare skin is in good condition. Using a primer that covers uneven skin tone works great. I don't really like heavy foundations, so personally I like this one because it gives a natural, glowy finish!

DecorteLoose PowderThe powder is finely milled and has a slightly moist texture. If you use powder regularly, it seems especially easy to use for dry skin or during winter. If you don't usually use much powder, it's also great for preventing shine in summer. If you prefer pressed powder, you may notice the moist feel more when comparing the two. It gives a finish that softly blurs pores, without looking too heavy. I think it's also easy to use for anyone who likes a natural, bare-skin finish. I got a nicer finish by applying it lightly with a large brush rather than the included puff. If using the puff, I recommend tapping off the excess once before applying so you don't use too much. It barely goes down at all even after a year of use, so I think it's a good powder to have on hand.
-
-
TFITTranslucent Set Finishing PowderIt gives a smooth, lightweight finish and keeps stickiness and shine under control! It doesn't look too powdery either, so it's easy to use ◎ It's great for everyday use and I'd also recommend it to anyone who prioritizes value for money!
