About PEG/PPG-14/7 Dimethyl Ether
PEG/PPG-14/7 Dimethyl Ether is a copolymer obtained by the reaction of 14 moles of ethylene oxide with 7 moles of propylene oxide whose terminal groups are substituted with dimethyl ether.[1] The number 14 indicates the average number of linked propylene oxide units, and the degree to which it mixes with oils and its application feel vary depending on this number and the type of fatty component attached to it. In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin's surface soft and smooth.[2]
