It has a slightly thick texture. It's a toner, but this alone leaves my skin pretty moisturized, so it's one of my favorites. I use a watery toner first, then apply this.

IPSAThe Time Reset Aqua LotionRather than being moisturizing, it's more of a watery toner that you splash on generously. The toner itself has very little moisturizing power, and it felt like you had to use it together with IPSA's emulsion to complete the routine. I think I repurchased it about twice, but personally, when it came to the toner alone, I couldn't really tell much difference between this and MUJI or other drugstore toners. That's how I felt.

SkinfoodCarrot Carotene Calming Water PadPurchased during Qoo10's Mega Sale. I used it from July to September this year. Using it every day made my skin break out. Specifically, my face became red and raw, and it was painful too. I don't know what exactly didn't agree with my skin. I'd heard good things about it on social media many times, so I was really sad when I realized it didn't work for me. If you have sensitive skin, there's a chance it may not work for you either, so please be careful. After realizing it didn't work for my face, I mainly used it on my neck. I wondered if it would smell like carrots!?, but it didn't really have any smell. Also, the pads are soft, so I didn't feel much friction. SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Relief AmpouleIt has a watery texture, so it's fine to use a pretty generous amount. It feels like a good-luck charm in a lot of ways. It's reassuring to have on hand, and when I want some soothing care, I put it on thinking, maybe it'll even make things better!

RMKW Treatment OilIt's a two-phase oil, so you shake it before using. It doesn't feel heavy at all, and it's not sticky—it's smooth and easy to use! The scent is pretty strong and smells like a citrus essential oil. Using it before makeup helps my makeup go on better and keeps it from breaking up due to dryness. Also, mixing just a tiny bit into concealer that tends to be drying helps it last longer, and I use it for makeup touch-ups too, so it's convenient and versatile in all sorts of ways. That's why I always keep it in my makeup pouch! It's easy to carry around, and since you only need a very small amount each time, I always go for the mini size. I also like that I can finish the mini size without having too much left over! Personally, this oil is an extra step for me, while my main moisturizing products are toner, serum, and cream. I'd say it's very moisturizing, but it feels more like it seals everything in and doesn't provide much hydration, so unless you hydrate your skin separately, it might not feel all that moisturized? Still, it's really convenient because it's so versatile, so I highly recommend it!

Milk TouchPDRN Dual Toner MistThe mist droplets are pretty big, so instead of spraying it directly on my face, I mostly spray it onto my cushion foundation puff and use it that way! It makes my makeup go on better and gives it a nice glow, so I feel like this is the best way to use it lol. I like the black tea? kind of scent!

MediCubeExosome Cica CreamIt's a cream, but it's lightweight with very little oiliness, so it isn't very moisturizing.. It didn't provide quite enough moisture for my skin. Since it's more watery, it felt nice and refreshing to use when it was hot! I couldn't really tell if the cica had any soothing effect.. Compared with the serum or toner, it felt like there was less of a presence of active ingredients. I don't feel like it has much of a soothing effect.. Also, depending on what I paired it with, it sometimes pilled.. Partly because I liked how lightweight it was, I finished about two tubes, but now I don't think I'd have many occasions to use it, so I probably won't repurchase? I also didn't feel like the amount or price made it particularly good value..

AlbionFlarune Hydro BombI like Albion's emulsions, so I bought this because I wanted to try using the toner from the same line too. It feels really refreshing, and even though it's not heavy, it still feels properly hydrating. It seems easy to use even for people who don't like sticky toners. I liked how it felt too, but unlike Albion's pre-serum emulsion, I didn't feel there was enough of a deciding factor to make me think, "I want to use this!" It's 5,500 yen, so at this price, I think I'd rather try out various other toners too. It's not that it didn't suit me or that I had any complaints. I used it up normally and was satisfied. But for now, I won't be repurchasing.

AnuaNiacinamide 10% + TXA 3% SerumI bought this to take care of my pores. It feels slightly sticky when applied to the skin. Maybe it just didn't suit my skin, but it had no effect on my pores at all, and I feel like my skin started breaking out more often, getting red right after applying it and developing pimples. Be careful to keep it out of sunlight after opening, or it will change color 😿

AnuaHeartleaf 70 Daily LotionIf you're looking for a lightweight lotion, I recommend this product. It doesn't feel like quite enough during dry seasons, so I use it with a thin layer of moisturizing cream. Rather than using it for my morning or nighttime skincare routine, I mostly use it as skincare before applying makeup. I didn't really notice much of a skincare effect, so I think it's best for people who just want some light moisture.

AnuaHeartleaf 77% Soothing TonerI used this hoping for a soothing effect, but I didn't feel like my skin got any better😿 It feels refreshing, so that part was nice. I'd recommend it for people with combination or oily skin who don't like stickiness. It doesn't feel moisturizing, so it might be drying for people with dry skin.

KaneboSkin HarmonizerMy skin gets tight and flaky if I don't do my skincare right after washing my face, but it also gets oily easily after I put on makeup, and this toner was perfect for me. Even without using a peel or anything, just the Skin Harmonizer improved the little bumps around my nose in 1-2 weeks, and I was like, so this is Kanebo's technology for targeting bad sebum!! Personally, this isn't moisturizing enough on its own, so after the Skin Harmonizer, I layer on a more moisturizing toner.

KisoCareBrongem Serum GL No.066With a high concentration of 60,000 ppm glutathione, plus niacinamide, panthenol, five types of ceramides, and even a vitamin C derivative, you can get it for around 2,000 yen (just looking at the description, doesn't it sound pretty amazing?!?!) But......the smell is unbelievably awful!!!! Of course I stink after using it, but even my family points it out when they use the sink after me. Even if I don't tell them I used it, when they get close to my face they ask, "Did you use it today?" I want to use it because I like how it makes my skin look clearer and feel smoother, but I can't stand the smell. I've used all kinds of products containing glutathione, but this is one of the worst-smelling ones. I'd give the feel of it about ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but factoring in the smell, this is my rating 💦

Nature ConcMedicated Clear Lotion Very MoistA cleansing toner. It didn't irritate my skin at all, and since I hate washing my face, I used this to wipe my face in the morning. I first got it at an event, and I liked it enough to buy it myself. I can't say I noticed any change in my skin, but using it to wipe my face wasn't stressful.

Centellian24The Madeca CreamI used it to soothe my irritated skin, but I didn't notice any effect. It spreads well, and even a small amount feels properly moisturizing, but it's not like it makes acne disappear or anything—it just feels like an ordinary cream. I wouldn't recommend it for people with combination or oily skin. It smells like medicinal herbs.

SK-IIFacial Treatment Clear Lotion TonerThis is one wipe-off toner I can't live without! Pitera is seriously amazing!! I use it right after washing my face. Soak a cotton pad with plenty of it (the trick is not to skimp!) and gently glide it over your skin... and your skin feels smooth and slippery like a peeled egg...!! It also helps the toner and serum you apply afterward absorb better, and it's the kind of wipe-off toner that makes skincare fun. It's more affordable and has a milder smell than the toner, so I also recommend it as a first step for anyone curious about SK-II.

SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Quick Calming PadI have such dry skin that even if I moisturize thoroughly in the morning, it starts feeling dry and flaky by evening. The product I've come to love so much that I can't live without it is the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Quick Calming Pad. The first thing I love is the soft, fluffy pads soaked with plenty of essence. When I put them on my skin, they feel like they're giving it a good boost of hydration. The half-moon shape fits easily under my eyes, and it's also convenient that I can tear the pads apart and use them on different areas that need extra care! One thing I especially love is the container, which opens with one touch. It opens and closes smoothly, and since it's something I use every day, I really appreciate how easy it is. When I want even more hydration, I use it together with the Centella Ampoule from SKIN1004. It's a favorite of mine not just because of how it feels to use, but also because of the shape and how easy the container is to use. For me, these are toner pads I always want to keep on hand.
