Tom Ford Metallust Is Back (Old vs New) + New Architecture Foundation Stick
Highlights (7)
Michele Wang tries Tom Ford’s new Architecture Multi-Use Foundation Stick and the reissued Metal Lust Eye Color Quad from the Vanilla Sex mini collection. The foundation stick blends quickly and gives a natural, skin-like finish, although shade 2.0 Ivory Silk is too light for her when layered. Compared with the original Metal Lust, the new quad is softer and smoother, making it a good everyday smoky-eye palette, while the old version has stronger pigmentation and more sparkle.
- The foundation stick is lightweight, seamless, and softly matte
- Shade 2.0 Ivory Silk can look too pale with more coverage
- The new Metal Lust has softer pigmentation than the original
- The old shimmer shades are more intense but have more fallout
- The new quad works well for an everyday slightly dramatic eye
