Cell Fusion CCooling PadI used this last summer and this summer, so technically I've been using it for a year... though I really only used it during the summer. I used it in the morning before doing my makeup and after coming home whenever my face felt hot, either wiping my face with it or leaving the pads on my face! It feels a little slimy, but not enough to leave any residue, so it's fine before makeup too!

CelimaxThe Real Noni Moisture Balancing TonerI bought this when I was struggling with problem skin and kept using it for a long time! It feels more soothing than moisturizing, so I think it's gentle to use when your skin is acting up! Best for oily skin!!

Cell Fusion CCooling PadBought this hoping my makeup would go on better. It cools my skin way more than I expected, so I'm super happy with it! The cooling effect doesn't just last for the moment you remove the pads—it sticks around for a while, so it's really good before makeup. I don't particularly notice any moisturizing effect, but as long as I do my skincare properly, cool my skin with these, and then do my makeup, I'm good. I also like the vitamin C version of these!

AEQUWACalming Glow TonerIt's watery and absorbs into the skin right away. It's refreshing, so it might not be moisturizing enough during dry seasons. I recommend it for people with combination or oily skin. It leaves my skin feeling plump after application. My skin was irritated and red from acne, but after a few hours, it had calmed down and the redness was gone. It feels similar to Anua's toner, but while Anua's toner didn't calm my skin, this toner worked, maybe because it suited my skin better. I recommend it for anyone struggling with acne. Using it as part of my skincare before makeup gives me glowing skin.

Cell Fusion CCooling PadI can't do without these in the summer or whenever my face feels hot, and I've honestly repurchased them so many times already. They have such a strong cooling sensation that the second I put one on, I'm like, “Cold!” and they really help the redness after a bath or sun exposure cool right down 😭 The sheets are thin and soaked with liquid, so they cling snugly to my skin, and they're easy to use both as a mask and for wiping. They're not sticky but still properly moisturizing, so they're perfect for my morning skincare routine, and when I use them before makeup, they lower my skin temperature and make my pores feel nice and tight, plus my foundation goes on so much betterr!! They're gentle on the skin, so they also help prevent peeling from dryness. If you want them to feel even cooler, I recommend keeping them in the fridge! ✨️

Cell Fusion CCooling PadI mainly used it to cool my skin before applying makeup. My makeup goes on better, and the pores on my cheeks tighten up, making them less noticeable. I've already repurchased it!

DermatorySalicinic Pore Clear Black PadThe little bumps from sebum and uneven texture were stressing me out, so I bought this because I wanted to take my time managing them instead of forcing them out like with extractions!! Since the pads are black, it was easier to see whether they were working, but they were a little irritating for me T_T Everyone's different, but I actually recommend these for people with oily skin!!

Cell Fusion CCooling PadHonestly, I had no idea cooling your skin before makeup was this important! And I never thought a toner pad could cool it down this much either! When I use it before makeup, my skin still feels cool while I'm applying it, and I was amazed by how noticeably less my makeup broke down that day🥹 Instead of being perfectly round, part of the pad is cut away, so it doesn't cover my eyes and fits nicely on my cheeks, which makes it easy to use and gives me a good impression. Not just in summer, this is something I'll definitely want to reach for whenever my skin feels hot💞

Clé de Peau BeautéHydro-Clarifying Essence LotionThis is a light, fresh toner that gives your skin plenty of hydration! It has no thickness to it and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin smooth and silky afterward. When I use it with the brand-recommended cotton pads to wipe my skin, it feels very refreshing and leaves my skin quite dry to the touch. When I apply it with my hands, it feels like the hydration really sinks into my skin more. I like wiping it on with a cotton pad in the morning and applying it with my hands at night. One layer is hydrating enough, but even if I apply 2–3 layers, it doesn't feel sticky at all, and it's easy to layer serums and emulsions over it. Even with my oily, acne-prone skin, I didn't notice any irritation or dryness in particular. It has a lovely, elegant scent, and I don't notice any smell from the raw ingredients. The bottle is stylish and easy to use, and I also love how it makes me feel like I'm taking extra care with my skincare every time I use it. Honestly, it's not particularly cost-effective, and it's not priced low enough to use generously, so I use it when I want a little mood boost. Even so, the happiness I feel doing my skincare while surrounded by this scent is personally one of a kind. I'd recommend it for oily to combination skin, or for anyone who dislikes stickiness but still wants plenty of hydration. Even after I finish it, I'll probably end up buying it again 😂

AlbionSkin Conditioner Essential NMy go-to skincare product that I've been using forever. The smell makes it seem like it might be harsh, but it actually feels refreshing on the skin. It's great for preventing breakouts, of course, and it also helps with pores, so I think I'll keep using it.

Cell Fusion CCooling PadSince it can cool down my face, when I used it before makeup, my makeup wore off more evenly than usual throughout the day. It feels cool and tingly when you put it on your skin, so it may be too irritating for people with sensitive skin. I'm the type who gets a lot of oil in my T-zone, so it doesn't stop the oil completely, but I recommend it because you can control the oil by blotting with a tissue.

AlbionSkin Conditioner Essential NI had the impression that this toner had a lot of loyal users, and I bought it after hearing that it works for a wide range of skin types. My concern is dryness, but it has a fresh, watery texture that absorbs into the skin quickly, and even when I layer it, it doesn't feel sticky or have trouble absorbing. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and is a very easy-to-use toner. I wouldn't say it feels particularly deeply moisturizing, so I use it more to replenish my skin's moisture. It also helps control oil and has a cool, refreshing effect, so I felt it would be good to use in summer when stickiness and flushed skin are a concern. It has a distinctive menthol scent that rushes coolly through your nose, and I was shocked by how strong it was the first time I used it, but once I got used to it, it became addictive, and now I really love this toner, scent included.

LeporemA.C LotionI was curious because it contains azelaic acid, so I started using this toner🫧 For me, when I use it in my nighttime skincare routine, my skin seems less oily than usual the next morning, and that's the most noticeable thing I like about it! It's especially easy to use when I'm bothered by oiliness around my T-zone and the sides of my nose◎ I use 2 pumps for my whole face, and my cheeks don't feel noticeably oily, while my T-zone and the sides of my nose still do, but I can tell it's definitely been reduced I also like the simple formula without a lot of unnecessary ingredients, and in my case, this hasn't caused more acne, so it's relatively easy to incorporate even when my skin is acting up. It does sting a little when my skin is irritated, but not enough for me to stop using it😂 That said, it's definitely not very moisturizing! Rather than something that replenishes moisture on its own, it feels like a toner meant for oil control. I use a different, more moisturizing toner first, then layer 2 pumps of this on top I don't think people with dry skin need this product in the first place, but I thought it was really easy to use for people with oily skin or combination skin in the summer who are concerned about greasiness and excess oil.

manyoGalactomy Clearskin TonerA wipe-off toner with a refreshing feel Saturate a cotton pad and wipe your skin with it to help smooth out rough pores It can also be used as a regular toner, and since it isn't sticky, it's great for summer ◎ If you don't like sticky products, you could probably use it year-round. It's fragrance-free too, so that's another plus ◎

MatsuyamaM-mark Amino Acid Infusion TonerThis item went so viral for a while that you couldn't find it anywhere. Personally, I felt it was neither particularly good nor bad. I was using it as a pre-toner, so that may be why it was hard to tell if it was doing much. I'm glad that it's non-irritating and I can use it without any problems even when my skin is acting up. I saw a post on X suggesting using it like a wipe-off toner right after washing your face, so I'd like to keep experimenting and using it for a little while longer.

Dr.Ci:LaboMedicated Lotion Sensitive ExThis is a water-based toner that feels just a little more moisturizing than water. The texture is quite runny, so I found it easy to work into my skin and not prone to feeling sticky. Despite its fresh-looking finish, it leaves more moisture than I expected after applying, so it’s easy to use even when my skin is prone to dryness. Since it contains anti-inflammatory ingredients and the like, I also use it when my acne is flaring up pretty badly. It’s relatively unlikely to feel irritating, and my impression is that it’s an easy toner to reach for when my skin is unstable. Even when my acne was pretty bad and had turned into sores, it didn’t sting at all when I used it. After using it, my skin feels soft and nicely balanced, and it pairs easily with the serums and emulsion I use afterward. Even if I just apply this and don’t use anything else, my skin still feels hydrated for a while, so I think you could also use it by applying just this right after getting out of the bath for the time being. Personally, I thought it would be easy to use for people who don’t like heavy toners but find ones that are too refreshing lacking. It’s fragrance-free, doesn’t feel irritating, and although it’s a runny type, it’s still moisturizing, so I think it’s an easy toner to use in the morning ☀️

VT CosmeticsCica Mild Toner PadThese are toner pads made of thin, bumpy-textured material that’s perfect for wiping your skin down! They leave my skin feeling pretty refreshed, and in summer, a little oiliness remains if I use them instead of washing my face in the morning, so I only use them when I oversleep, but they seem like they’ll work totally fine in winter.

Tout VertBalancing GA LotionIt’s a moisturizing toner with ceramides and such in it, but I felt like it didn’t fully absorb and left my skin feeling sticky🥲 Also, I’m the type who tends to get pimples easily from oils, and I ended up getting a few small pimples…

-
DecorteYouth Power Essence LotionIt's a watery lotion, but once you're done applying it, it feels surprisingly moisturizing. That said, it doesn't feel oily (although it's not oil-free), so I think it's great for people who don't like stickiness but still feel dryness!

SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Teca Soothing TonerTo put it in one word, “It’s neither good nor bad, but I’m grateful for it after skin treatments 😭.” 〈Good points〉 ・After getting cosmetic medical treatments at a clinic, like skin treatments, I feel like you’re not supposed to use anything too irritating, but this is something I can use safely at times like that. Honestly, I have a lot of toners, but a lot of recent products are pretty specialized toward one thing or another, so even with moisturizing ones, I find myself wondering, “Is it really okay to use this?” (Sometimes they feel gentle going on, but still contain retinol or something.) But this Centella one doesn’t have anything like that, so I felt safe using it! ・It smells kind of like oolong tea. I like that it’s natural. ・It leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I’ve gotten used to how Centella feels now, but when I first used it, my skin felt so moisturized and I thought it was really good. I really want people who use drugstore products and things like that to try it at least once. This is the product I’d most recommend to someone making their Korean skincare debut. 〈Bad points〉 ・This isn’t a product that can do some amazing thing for a particular skin concern, like making your pores disappear! (I guess it probably does soothe your skin, though?) So if you buy it expecting some kind of dramatic effect, I think you’ll end up feeling like, “This doesn’t do anything at all... This wasn’t good...” That said, if you use Centella TECA throughout your everyday skincare routine, I feel like your skin stops breaking out pretty quickly. (I once saw a review from someone who had been getting very little sleep and working crazy hours in Europe, but said that their skin didn’t break out as much as you’d expect given their lifestyle while using Centella, so I think this really is skincare that keeps things from getting worse and helps maintain a perfectly good condition.) By the way, I bought mine as part of a Qoo10 Mega Sale bundle, so I got it for quite a bit cheaper than the regular price. So I wouldn’t recommend buying it individually at full price. I think it’s best to get it during a sale!
