CelimaxThe Real Noni Acne Bubble CleanserEvery year, I rely on this as my summer cleanser for the season. Maybe it's because of the noni? It feels cool and refreshing to use and has a fresh scent, which I like because it wakes me up and makes me feel alert on hot, groggy mornings. I have dry skin, so it's hard for me to use in fall and winter, but if you have oily skin, it seems like you could use it year-round. I like this product, but since I only use it for a limited time and it takes forever to use up, it's not like I repurchase it over and over...

BeplainMung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing FoamThis is a face wash I make sure to use once a week. It gets rid of dirt, and when I'm bothered by clogged pores or roughness, I work up a lot of lather and gently wash my face a little longer, and it gets better. It doesn't irritate my skin either, so it's a cleansing foam I can use without worrying even when my skin is acting up. I keep a backup because I get anxious when I don't have it. It's not like it has an immediate effect on anything, but it's gentle and still cleans well, so it's a product I can keep using.

BioreOuchi de Esthe Deep Clay Facial CleanserThe cleansing power is strong, so it's great at getting rid of clogged pores and sebaceous plugs! But it also made my skin feel dry, and it stripped away so much oil that the next day's oiliness was... I moisturized thoroughly after using it and that still happened, so I think it'll only work for certain people. I won't repurchase. I think it'd be good for people with oily skin! Since it's a clay cleanser, the texture is about as thick as a firm mud mask.

CelimaxThe Real Noni Acne Bubble CleanserI've repurchased this so many times with my own money—it's a favorite! It comes out as foam, so there's no need to lather it up, and the foam is more light and fluffy than dense and bouncy. It feels slightly cooling and leaves my skin feeling refreshed, so it seems like it'd be good for people with oily skin like me 🙆♀️

MinonAmino Moist Moist Milky CleansingI repurchased this over 10 times—it was my go-to cleanser for years! I've tried all kinds of cleansers, but no matter how many times I strayed, I always ended up coming back to this one, and repurchased it over 10 times. What I liked most was how my skin felt after washing. It's a milk cleanser, and I love that my skin still feels moisturized afterward. Even during times of year when pollen or UV rays make my skin prone to stinging, it was relatively easy to use on my skin and gave me the peace of mind of knowing, "I can always go back to this for now." You can get it for around 1,500 yen, and for how it feels to use, I think it's really good value for money. I also like the simple packaging and how easy it is to keep by the sink. On the other hand, having to double cleanse is a bit of a hassle. Also, since it's a milk cleanser, I feel like it takes a little longer to work it into my makeup and emulsify compared to oil cleansers and the like. I've tried various high-end department store cleansers too, but I kept coming back to this product, thinking, "For this price, this moisturized feeling after washing is more than enough." I'm currently using a cleanser from M-mark Series while I look for something that suits me even better, but Minon was such a favorite that I used over 10 bottles of it.

BioreOuchi de Esthe Gel Facial CleanserThe old packaging? wasn't listed, so I'm reviewing it here. I only have the old packaging & have backups, but it's very drying and irritating, so lately I've stopped using it frequently. When the clogged pores around my nose or the roughness on my chin bother me, I use it as a mask in the bath and it clears the clogs, but it does kind of feel like it's damaging my skin. Lately, cleansing balm gets the clogs out, so I use this as more of a rescue treatment in the summer or before my period, when I'm like, wow, my pores are super clogged.

WhippedPeach Pear Vegan Yogurt Pack CleanserIt looks cute, and I like Whipped's scrubs, so I decided to give it a try. It has a sweet scent, and the foam itself is super soft and fluffy🫧 I like how the soft foam feels like it won't irritate my skin at all when I put it on. It feels so nice to put it on my skin without lathering it first, then work it into a lather on my skin🎶

CelimaxThe Real Noni Acne Bubble CleanserIt comes out as foam, so it's easy to use and has become a favorite of mine. It doesn't irritate my skin or leave it feeling tight, so I think it's a face wash that's easy for anyone to use! The foam is rich and feels great too 🎶

SulwhasooGentle Cleansing FoamI liked Sulwhasoo's serum, so I decided to try this cleanser. It has a very mild cleansing power and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing, so I really recommend it for seasons when dryness is a concern, like fall and winter! This cleanser isn't enough for me in the summer. It's good for fall and winter and for washing your face in the morning ◎

BioreOuchi de Esthe Deep Clay Facial CleanserBought this because I wanted to take care of the pores on my nose. The first time I used it, I washed my whole face with it and the skin around my eyes got super dry, which was awful, so now I only use it on my nose and around my chin. It doesn't cause any particular irritation, so it's good for using around my nose ◎ Not sure if it's actually breaking down the pore plugs, but I feel like using it is better than not using it at all..

BeplainMung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing FoamNeither good nor bad. It didn't have any positive or negative effect on my skin, so I think it's pretty gentle. My skin didn't feel tight at all after washing, so I think it has a convenient level of cleansing power, though it does feel slightly grainy.

FANCLSoftening Milk WashThis was the first non-foaming face wash I ever tried! I bought it with my own money to use as my morning cleanser and finished the whole bottle. Until then, I had only ever used foaming face washes, so it felt really new to just smooth the milk directly over my skin, rinse, and be done washing my face! Since I didn't have to lather it up, I used it every morning. I also like the way the runny milk glides smoothly over my skin. I have thin skin, and foaming face washes sometimes leave it feeling tight afterward, but this one didn't dry out my skin as much after washing and left it feeling soft and plump, which I liked. It was especially good during pollen season. Even when pollen made my skin bright red and my usual foaming face wash became painful to use, I could still use this. It was a huge help as a morning cleanser when my skin was acting up. After finishing one bottle, I thought, "Non-foaming face washes might actually be pretty good!" and now I'm trying all kinds of other milk and non-foaming cleansers, like IHADA. This is the product that got me hooked on non-foaming face washes.

WhippedPeach Pear Vegan Yogurt Pack CleanserThis face wash has a nice sweet peach scent and a cute whipped-cream-like look! It also comes out of the container in a star shape, which is cute, so I use it when I want to feel like I'm taking extra care of my skin🍑 The foam is very soft and already fluffy when it comes out, so I use it without lathering it up much. The bubbles are dense and bouncy, and I don't feel any particular friction or irritation while washing. I feel like it removes oil and stickiness to some extent, but surprisingly, it doesn't feel all that refreshing considering it contains LHA. My skin feels moisturized after washing and becomes a little slick and smooth. It doesn't feel tight even after some time has passed. However, it doesn't feel like it thoroughly cleans the gunk out of my pores, so I think it might be underwhelming for anyone who wants to really clear out clogged pores. It rinses off about average, and I feel like it takes a little time on rushed mornings. I think it's best for days when you want to take your time with your skincare in the morning or when you want to wash gently at night. I use about 2 cm each time, so it seems like it'll run out quickly for how much it looks like you get, but considering you can buy it cheaply during the Mega Sale, I think it's good value for money🙆♀️ Even on my oily skin, it removes excess oil while leaving my skin moisturized, smooth, and soft, so it seems relatively easy to use regardless of skin type.

BeplainMung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing FoamIt rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling refreshed, so I love using it as my morning cleanser. I have oily skin, and I like that it thoroughly removes oil and stickiness without making my skin feel tight after washing. Even though it doesn't feel tight, the surface of my skin feels sleek and smooth. The cleansing foam lathers up quickly if you use a foaming net. The foam doesn't seem particularly fine, bouncy, or voluminous, but I didn't feel any friction while washing, and it didn't feel irritating either. Most of all, the foam rinses away quickly, so it's easy to wash off in a flash even on busy mornings! It's fragrance-free, with no noticeable raw ingredient smell, so I don't think there's anything unusual about the scent. One issue is that the product itself is pretty thick, so it's a little hard to squeeze out of the container 💦 I use about 1 cm each time, and I think it's pretty cost-effective too. It seems especially suitable for people with oily or combination skin who want a refreshing cleanse but hate that tight feeling. It cleans well without any noticeable irritation or dryness, so I think it's an easy-to-use cleanser for all skin types.

MatsuyamaMoisturizing CleansingAfter repurchasing Minon cleanser over 10 times, I tried all kinds of others, and now I’ve bought four of these! What I like best is how moisturized my skin feels after washing. I have thin skin that’s prone to redness and dryness, but Matsuyama works really well for my skin. It doesn’t feel like my skin has been “stripped of moisture” after washing, and I like how hydrated it feels. I’ve wandered around quite a bit with cleansers and have also used things like: ・Shu Uemura Ultime8 ・Covermark Treatment Cleansing Milk ・Albion Infinesse Deep Suction Cleansing Milk For me, when I kept using products like these, sometimes the redness and dryness started bothering me. Attenir worked relatively well, but when I used it all over my face, it didn’t exactly leave my skin feeling amazing! I also liked Minon and muhav and found them easy to use, but so far Matsuyama is my favorite in terms of moisture and how gentle it feels on my skin. Even when I try something else, I always end up coming back to this, so lately I’m a little scared to switch cleansers and have pretty much settled on this one 😂 The texture is slightly thicker than Minon. I’m concerned about friction, so I use quite a lot, but even then, one tube lasts me about two months. It removes my usual light foundation without any problems. But I don’t wear very heavy makeup, so I don’t know if it would be enough to remove a full face of makeup. I don’t think mascara comes off easily with this alone, so I use a separate eye makeup remover. After using over 10 tubes of Minon and then trying various milks and oils, I’ve now bought four of these. Even when I stray thinking, “Maybe there’s something better,” I always end up coming back, so for now this is my go-to cleanser.

BioreOuchi de Esthe Gel Facial CleanserI've repurchased this gel cleanser so many times. I've been using it for over 10 years. I really love how easy it is to use without lathering, how it leaves my skin feeling non-tight, and yet still gives the feeling of thoroughly stripping away excess sebum. Best of all, it's cheap and incredibly easy to get. I'm planning to stick with it for life.

BioreOuchi de Esthe Deep Clay Facial CleanserI absolutely love this gel cleanser line, and I’ve been using gel cleansers themselves for about 10 years noooow. You don’t have to lather it up—just apply the gel as is and rinse it off. It’s way too easy. I love how refreshed my skin feels after rinsing, and how it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight. Best of all, it’s cheap. And then, wouldn’t you know it, a new line that’s apparently going viral came out. I’m not sure if there’s an obvious difference, but it feels like it has stronger cleansing power, so I think it’s perfect for summer.

MinonAmino Moist Moist Milky CleansingThe texture is milky → once you work it in, it turns silky and runny, almost like oil! Other cleansing creams can feel thick and draggy, fail to remove all your makeup, or leave behind a greasy film, but this one blends in quickly and removes just the makeup without stripping too much sebum, so your skin feels moisturized after rinsing. Since its concept is “water-retaining skin,” you can really feel the softness and hydration! Recommended for anyone who wants to gently and thoroughly remove light makeup, or wants their skin to feel hydrated even after cleansing.

BeplainMung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing FoamI thought I had pretty resilient skin, but this made it sting. So I couldn't even use it for a week. By around the third day, it was stinging every day, so I stopped using it. I thought it would probably be good since an influencer I like was using it and the reviews were good too, but it just didn't work for me. So I gave it to someone I know with dry skin, and they said they liked it, so I figure it probably had some ingredient that didn't agree with me.

BeplainMung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing FoamIt lathers into a soft, fluffy foam, and my skin doesn’t feel tight after washing, so it’s easy to use. It contains fine particles, but I don’t notice any irritation, and it’s a cleanser I want to reach for when I’m concerned about my pores or rough texture too 🍃 I bought the 80g size to try it out, but next time I want to buy the 160g one!
