▶︎FANCL Clay Gel Facial Wash ✂------------------------ It's a gel-type facial wash that doesn't need lathering🫧 It's quick and easy to use even during hectic mornings, and all you have to do is massage it into your skin in circles to thoroughly remove pore buildup and excess oil✨ When I heard it contained mud (clay), I thought it might be drying, but it leaves my skin feeling moisturized after washing and doesn't feel tight at all🙌 The texture is on the thick side, so I recommend wetting your hands and face and working it in before using it! For the pores around my nose, I massage it in using circular motions🥰 I also like that it's additive-free and focused on being gentle on the skin, which is so FANCL🙆‍♀️But I was a little bothered by how it felt like some product was left behind after rinsing. Every year, I rely on this as my summer cleanser for the season. Maybe it's because of the noni? It feels cool and refreshing to use and has a fresh scent, which I like because it wakes me up and makes me feel alert on hot, groggy mornings. I have dry skin, so it's hard for me to use in fall and winter, but if you have oily skin, it seems like you could use it year-round. I like this product, but since I only use it for a limited time and it takes forever to use up, it's not like I repurchase it over and over...

Mung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing Foam

This is a face wash I make sure to use once a week. It gets rid of dirt, and when I'm bothered by clogged pores or roughness, I work up a lot of lather and gently wash my face a little longer, and it gets better. It doesn't irritate my skin either, so it's a cleansing foam I can use without worrying even when my skin is acting up. I keep a backup because I get anxious when I don't have it. It's not like it has an immediate effect on anything, but it's gentle and still cleans well, so it's a product I can keep using.

The cleansing power is strong, so it's great at getting rid of clogged pores and sebaceous plugs! But it also made my skin feel dry, and it stripped away so much oil that the next day's oiliness was... I moisturized thoroughly after using it and that still happened, so I think it'll only work for certain people. I won't repurchase. I think it'd be good for people with oily skin! Since it's a clay cleanser, the texture is about as thick as a firm mud mask.

I've repurchased this so many times with my own money—it's a favorite! It comes out as foam, so there's no need to lather it up, and the foam is more light and fluffy than dense and bouncy. Moisturizing & Brightening Rice Cleansing Foam

I had high hopes because it was rice-based, but...hmm, overall it was kinda meh 🥲 I like rice-based skincare, so I tried it expecting it to feel gentle. The first thing that bothered me was the scent. To me, it smelled like household cleaner, and honestly, I really couldn't stand it. I'd assumed it would have a gentle, rice-like scent, so this was a little disappointing. The texture is creamy, but both the lather and how my skin felt after washing were just “pretty average, I guess?” It seems to contain hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and other ingredients, but I didn't notice any particular difference while using it. Another minor annoyance is the packaging. The tube is pretty stiff and the opening is narrow, so it comes out in a super-thin string, which is a bit of a hassle every time 😂 It seems like you can also use it kind of like a face mask cleanser, but since I don't like the scent in the first place, I can't say I'm eager to use it... It's not so much that it's bad, but more that there wasn't anything about it that made me think, “It has to be this one!” Would not repurchase △

The old packaging? wasn't listed, so I'm reviewing it here. I only have the old packaging & have backups, but it's very drying and irritating, so lately I've stopped using it frequently. When the clogged pores around my nose or the roughness on my chin bother me, I use it as a mask in the bath and it clears the clogs, but it does kind of feel like it's damaging my skin. Lately, cleansing balm gets the clogs out, so I use this as more of a rescue treatment in the summer or before my period, when I'm like, wow, my pores are super clogged.

Cleansing Gel

If you’re going to buy just one thing from Environ Skin Care, I recommend this. It isn’t harsh, so it’s an item that will (probably) work for anyone, and as you keep using it, it really changes your skin texture, so I can’t live without it 😭✨ I have oily skin with a lot of sebum and enlarged pores, but as I’ve continued using it, I feel like the unevenness of my skin has improved. The texture is a gel, which you apply to wet skin and wash in circular motions. It also lathers if you add a little water. It’s about 8 parts gel to 2 parts foam. I like gel face washes that aren’t too cleansing, so this is perfect for me! Also, even though it’s called Cleansing Gel, I basically use it as a face wash. Apparently it can remove cosmetics that wash off with soap and sunscreen, but I think it’s safer to use a makeup remover for makeup so you don’t get buildup in your pores. If your pores get clogged from sebum, I think the cleansing step is important, so definitely consider this one. I really recommend it 🫶🏻

It looks cute, and I like Whipped's scrubs, so I decided to give it a try. It has a sweet scent, and the foam itself is super soft and fluffy🫧 I like how the soft foam feels like it won't irritate my skin at all when I put it on. It feels so nice to put it on my skin without lathering it first, then work it into a lather on my skin🎶

Bought this because I wanted to take care of the pores on my nose. The first time I used it, I washed my whole face with it and the skin around my eyes got super dry, which was awful, so now I only use it on my nose and around my chin. It doesn't cause any particular irritation, so it's good for using around my nose ◎ Not sure if it's actually breaking down the pore plugs, but I feel like using it is better than not using it at all..

Neither good nor bad. It didn't have any positive or negative effect on my skin, so I think it's pretty gentle. My skin didn't feel tight at all after washing, so I think it has a convenient level of cleansing power, though it does feel slightly grainy.

Peach Pear Vegan Yogurt Pack Cleanser

This face wash has a nice sweet peach scent and a cute whipped-cream-like look! It also comes out of the container in a star shape, which is cute, so I use it when I want to feel like I'm taking extra care of my skin🍑 The foam is very soft and already fluffy when it comes out, so I use it without lathering it up much. The bubbles are dense and bouncy, and I don't feel any particular friction or irritation while washing. I feel like it removes oil and stickiness to some extent, but surprisingly, it doesn't feel all that refreshing considering it contains LHA. My skin feels moisturized after washing and becomes a little slick and smooth. It doesn't feel tight even after some time has passed. However, it doesn't feel like it thoroughly cleans the gunk out of my pores, so I think it might be underwhelming for anyone who wants to really clear out clogged pores. It rinses off about average, and I feel like it takes a little time on rushed mornings. I think it's best for days when you want to take your time with your skincare in the morning or when you want to wash gently at night. I use about 2 cm each time, so it seems like it'll run out quickly for how much it looks like you get, but considering you can buy it cheaply during the Mega Sale, I think it's good value for money🙆‍♀️ Even on my oily skin, it removes excess oil while leaving my skin moisturized, smooth, and soft, so it seems relatively easy to use regardless of skin type.

This is my third tube. I use it once or twice a week as a special treatment. When I use this, it feels like it really strips away all the grime, leaving my skin feeling super clean and refreshed. The slightly larger scrub particles in the clay feel really good too. It's easy to use too—just apply it directly to your face, gently massage it in, lather it up with wet hands, and rinse. I hate the whole "lather it up with a sponge~" process more than anything in the world, so I absolutely love that I don't have to do that with this

It comes as a powder, and you add a little water and lather it up. The powder feels a bit like a scrub, and I like how it feels like it's getting rid of the roughness on my skin. I like a refreshing, clean finish after washing, and this leaves my skin feeling exactly that way—fresh and smooth—so it's one of my favorites.

It rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling refreshed, so I love using it as my morning cleanser. I have oily skin, and I like that it thoroughly removes oil and stickiness without making my skin feel tight after washing. Even though it doesn't feel tight, the surface of my skin feels sleek and smooth. The cleansing foam lathers up quickly if you use a foaming net. The foam doesn't seem particularly fine, bouncy, or voluminous, but I didn't feel any friction while washing, and it didn't feel irritating either. Most of all, the foam rinses away quickly, so it's easy to wash off in a flash even on busy mornings! It's fragrance-free, with no noticeable raw ingredient smell, so I don't think there's anything unusual about the scent. One issue is that the product itself is pretty thick, so it's a little hard to squeeze out of the container 💦 I use about 1 cm each time, and I think it's pretty cost-effective too. It seems especially suitable for people with oily or combination skin who want a refreshing cleanse but hate that tight feeling. It cleans well without any noticeable irritation or dryness, so I think it's an easy-to-use cleanser for all skin types.

Hana Celeb SKINLISM Moist Cleansing Bar

I heard that Nepia had released a soap from its Hana Celeb line, and that it was supposed to remove the gunk from clogged pores, so I was curious and bought it. When I opened it, the soap had an adorable little bunny on it, and my heart melted. For some reason, the lather is stickier and stringier than regular soap. I wonder what kind of ingredients are in it... It didn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing and was moisturizing too, so I thought, that's Hana Celeb for you. But I think I would've liked a bit more cleansing power. It's not enough for adults concerned about their pores. In fact, after I started using this to wash my face in the morning, I checked my skin with a skin scope and found that the pores on my nose were more clogged, so hmm. I probably won't repurchase...but it seems like it'd be just right for my elementary school-aged daughter.

I absolutely love this gel cleanser line, and I’ve been using gel cleansers themselves for about 10 years noooow. You don’t have to lather it up—just apply the gel as is and rinse it off. It’s way too easy. I love how refreshed my skin feels after rinsing, and how it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight. Best of all, it’s cheap. And then, wouldn’t you know it, a new line that’s apparently going viral came out. I’m not sure if there’s an obvious difference, but it feels like it has stronger cleansing power, so I think it’s perfect for summer.

Green Tea + LHA Deep Pore Rice Cake Cleanser

It feels super bouncy and cushiony to use, and since it contains scrub particles, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed without any irritation. There is a faint green tea scent, but it’s extremely subtle and doesn’t seem to come from added fragrance, so if you’re looking for something that smells nice, I think another face wash might be better. It’s easier to rinse off than the jar-type products from the same brand, so it’s easy to use in the morning too.
