PolaWhite Shot Serum UV SPF 50+I used the version before the reformulation and liked how it felt, so I repurchased it after the reformulation too 🔁 A sunscreen that provides solid protection from sun damage while also offering brightening and skin irritation prevention benefits. At my age, I want to be particular about sunscreen, so I chose this one. Of the several sunscreens I own, this is one of my favorites. It's fragrance-free. Some people seem to think it smells like medicinal herbs, but it didn't bother me. The texture is like a fresh, lightweight cream. It blends in so smoothly and spreads endlessly, and I love that I can use it without worrying about friction or uneven application. It does contain alcohol, but it has never irritated my skin. The fact that it leaves my skin moisturized without feeling sticky is another thing that makes it easy to use. It's on the pricey side, so I basically use it on my face.

KwailnaraAloe Vera Moisture Aqua Soothing GelI tried this while looking for a lightweight soothing gel to use in the summer, and it was better than I expected. The texture is bouncy yet light, so it doesn't feel stuffy or heavy on the skin and leaves it feeling moisturized. It was especially nice to apply generously on hot days or when my skin felt hot from being dry. It absorbs pretty quickly too, so it wasn't overly sticky even when I applied a lot, and it felt even better and more cooling when I kept it in the fridge before using it. It was also convenient to use on dry areas like my arms and legs, not just my face. That said, it might feel a little light for anyone looking for a super rich, deeply moisturizing feel. If you're looking for a soothing gel you can apply generously without feeling weighed down, this is a decent product.

CezanneUV Ultra Fit Base EXCezanne UV Ultra Fit Base EX 02 Peach Pink review🥹💗 It brightens my skin naturally and beautifully💗I find it drying, so I want to layer a really moisturizing sunscreen underneath🤝🏻 (I have dehydrated skin) If you have oily skin, this might be all you need as a makeup base☺️Every time I try one of Cezanne's base makeup products, I feel like they're all probably better suited for oily skin🤔

D'AlbaAir Fit Blue Tone-Up Sun PowderI feel like I say this every time, but D'Alba is cheapest during the Mega Sale. Is the new blue sunscreen powder not coming back in stock during the Mega Sale?🥹🩵(?) This type of powder is a total lifesaver for bangs wrecked by sweat and oil💭💭 The brush is cute like a puppy and super fluffy too! For getting rid of forehead shine & reviving my bangs‼️Of course, it’s also an easy way to get sun protection on your neck and face. Update: No sign of it coming back and I could cry, pretty please D'Alba🤲

Beauty of JoseonRelief Sun Aqua-Fresh Rice + B5 SPF 50+It's incredibly refreshing and non-greasy, so it's really perfect for summer. It's so lightweight I wonder if I even put it on, so it feels great to apply. There's nothing that makes me think, "It has to be this one!" but I like that it's affordable.

D'AlbaUV Essence Waterfull Tone-Up Pink Correcting Sunscreen SPF 50+This sunscreen feels fresh and watery, spreads easily, and feels lightweight on the skin! The pink color naturally cancels out dullness and subtly brightens and tones up the skin! It doesn't leave much of a white cast, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a dewy finish◎ While it doesn't dry out easily, I felt like it wore off a little more easily on days when my skin was oilier😢 It's easy to use for both cool and warm undertones, but it's especially good for anyone who wants a more translucent look!✨

CurelSkin Repair UV Protection Serum SPF 50 PA+++It’s super moisturizing, and even my dry-prone skin stayed thoroughly moisturized all day in summer. The beige color naturally covers uneven skin tone and dullness, and for a quick outing, this alone gives me a finished enough look. However, if you apply a lot, it can easily leave a white cast, so be careful! I used it in summer, but it didn’t seem very sweat-resistant and came off quickly, so I felt it wasn’t suitable for summer. Since it’s highly moisturizing and I like how it feels and looks, I’d like to repurchase it in winter, when I’m especially concerned about impressions.

AstaliftD-UV Shield Tone-Up SPF 50+Astalift by Fujifilm. The shade is Rose. This has really strong sun protection. It's a must-have for summer. Even if you don't apply it every day, using this as a base on days when the UV rays are strong, when you'll be driving, or when you plan to go out keeps worries about the sun to a minimum. It barely has any tone-up effect, so I mix it with a CC cream or color corrector from another brand. If you're using it on its own, don't expect it to tone up your skin. lol But I definitely want people to use this on days when they're more concerned about sunburn than toning up their skin. If you're choosing just one base product for summer, this is the one. The downside of previous Astalift products was that they tended to break down easily, but I feel like that's been significantly improved with this one. Its adherence to the skin and how well foundation adheres to it are both satisfactory. However, the biggest selling point of this product is its UV protection, so I don't think it's particularly good at the tone-up effect I mentioned earlier or preventing dryness, which is important in fall and winter. I think you could buy one for summer and use something else in fall and winter. But I'll definitely buy it again next summer.

CurelSkin Repair UV Protection Serum SPF 50 PA+++I bought this for my face, but it really didn't agree with my skin, so partway through I switched to using it on my body. I have thin skin that gets red easily, so I bought this while looking for a sunscreen that seemed gentle on the skin. It felt moisturizing, and I had high hopes that it wouldn't dry out my skin easily. But when I actually used it on my face, the tone-up effect was way too strong for me, and I was bothered by the white cast. It also felt like it settled into my pores, and when I layered concealer and other products over it, they sat a little awkwardly on top, so it didn't work that well with my base makeup either. It does feel moisturizing, but as a facial sunscreen, I really disliked how it felt. It seemed wasteful to throw it away, so after that I used it as a body sunscreen on days when I was staying home or just going out around the neighborhood. A little whiteness doesn't bother me as much on my body, so I used it that way until it was finished. It might work for people who like moisturizing sunscreens or a tone-up effect, but I won't repurchase it for my face.

IopeUV Shield Sun Ampoule SPF 50+I use this as my at-home sunscreen ✌︎ Just like the name Sun Ampoule suggests, I love that it feels like an extension of my skincare routine. It feels totally stress-free to use, so I recommend it even for people who don't like sunscreen 🙂↕️ SPF50+ PA+++ It gives solid UV protection while supporting the skin barrier and being gentle on the skin—just what you'd expect from Iope! 🥹 I can use it without worrying even when my skin isn't doing so great, and it feels so good to use that I always want to have a bottle on hand, so even though it's a little pricey, I'm planning to repurchase! ☑︎No squeaky feeling ☑︎No stickiness (leaves skin moisturized and bouncy)

D'AlbaUV Essence Waterfull Tone-Up Purple Correcting Sun Cream SPF 50+It naturally brightens up my skin and is moisturizing too, so it leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and I thimk it would be good for people with dry skin. The coverage looks natural and gives a nice glow, and I think it works well with any foundation! It spreads really well, so I think the value for money is unbeatable too! 💭 It’s also great as a makeup primer, and I use this + a light dusting of powder for a no-foundation makeup look! I used it all through winter, and not once did my skin feel dry

D'AlbaUV Essence Waterfull Tone-Up Pink Correcting Sunscreen SPF 50+I use all three colors, and they feel pretty different depending on the shade! I have sensitive & thin skin, so when my skin isn't doing well, even sunscreen can sting sometimes, but this line has never irritated my skin. Cover Beige It goes on sheer, but feels like a BB cream. This one is my favorite, and I often use it when I want to do some quick makeup, but the oils start to separate as you use it, so you should shake the container well before using it T_T Purple This shade gives the biggest tone-up effect. It's the least moisturizing of the three, but it doesn't dry out my skin or anything! It can look pretty white if you apply too much. Pink Pink goes on the sheerest. It's lighter than the purple and feels more moisturizing. Since it's sheer, I use it as a makeup base or when I'm going bare-faced and just want a slight tone-up effect.

PolaWhite Shot Serum UV SPF 50+I have dry, thin skin, and I'm the type who tends to notice dryness over time with certain sunscreens. This has a smooth, cream-like texture that's easy to spread and feels moisturizing. I didn't find the stickiness too bothersome. What I especially like is that it works as both a day cream and sunscreen in one. Using this as the last step in my morning skincare routine takes care of UV protection too, so it's really helpful on mornings when I want fewer steps. Another thing I love is that dryness doesn't really bother me even after wearing it for a long time. SPF 50+ sunscreens can sometimes start to feel tight over time, but this one is easy to use even for my dry skin, so I keep reaching for it. The blue light protection is another nice bonus. On the other hand, it can pill with certain foundations. I feel like it can be a little picky when it comes to compatibility with base makeup. Also, since it's more moisturizing than a lightweight gel type, it may feel a little heavy for those who prioritize a light feel. It's one I want to rely on when I want fewer steps in the morning but don't want to compromise on UV protection or a feel that doesn't dry out my skin!

D'AlbaUV Essence Waterfull Tone-Up Pink Correcting Sunscreen SPF 50+I have dry, dull skin, and I came across this while looking for a tone-up sunscreen primer. I love it for the following reasons, and I'm already on my third tube! ・A little goes a long way ・The texture is just right—not drying or too heavy ・Natural tone-up effect ・Just the right amount of glow Since it spreads so well, one tube lasts a long time and I tend to keep it around for quite a while, so during summer and other times when I absolutely don't want to get sunburned, I apply sunscreen first and use this as a primer. It's a versatile product that works in any season, and I think I'll keep using it!

AstaliftD-UV Shield Tone-Up SPF 50+I'll be honest. I won't repurchase this. It leaves an unbelievable white cast. Like, I looked like a ghost. People around me repeatedly pointed out that my face looked weird because it was way too white, and although I think I used about half of it, I threw it away. It's pretty expensive, so if you're considering buying it, you should think carefully. Especially if you're thinking of buying it because you want to get by with just sunscreen + powder, don't. I have a normal skin tone, and it looked awful on me. I don't think it would blend in unless you have extremely fair skin.

AstaliftD-UV Shield Tone-Up SPF 50+I bought this for long UVA protection during the summer. The shade I used was Rose. I didn't use this daily, only for specific occasions like summer leisure activities. It spreads easily, adheres closely to the skin, and doesn't crease easily. It has just the right amount of coverage to even out my skin, enough that I can go out wearing only this. However, I personally find that it leaves a pretty noticeable white cast, so I think of it as being specifically for UV protection rather than makeup. I tested how well it held up against sweat in the bath (see the second photo), and it is extremely durable, so I can use it with confidence. I plan to keep using it in the summer. However, outside of summer, it tends to dry out my skin type, and it sometimes caused a slight stinging sensation.

DecorteUV Comfort Airy TransparentThis sunscreen is so lightweight, it feels like you haven’t applied sunscreen at all. It has what you could call a “smooth red bean paste” texture, and is a translucent, gel-like cream. It’s truly light as air, with zero shine or stickiness, and feels super smooth. It does have some moisturizing feel, but it’s more of an oily moisturized feel rather than a watery one. Since it’s transparent, it doesn’t brighten the skin tone, but it does softly blur pores and skin texture. It leaves a slightly matte finish, too. Since it’s transparent, it’s also great that it doesn’t leave a white cast or get on your clothes or accessories! It works pretty well with makeup, doesn’t break down easily, and wears off nicely. It’s not like it’s weak against sweat, but... I feel more reassured when I apply another layer. The only thing that bothers me a little is that the scent is strong. I like the scent, so it’s fine, but since it feels like you’re not wearing sunscreen at all, I thought making the scent more subtle could have made its presence even less noticeable. Also, this smooth red bean paste texture is probably from silicone-based ingredients, so that might be a matter of personal preference. I’m the type who doesn’t mind that at all, so I like using it. I love this sunscreen because it lets me eliminate one layer of heaviness from my base makeup!

Clé de Peau BeautéUV Protective Cream SPF 50+I think this is the pinnacle of sunscreens! It’s moderately firm and spreads well, but it doesn’t keep spreading loosely forever—it adheres evenly and snugly. It barely feels like sunscreen at all. It feels more like a cream you apply as the last step of your skincare routine. It isn’t sticky or shiny, and it’s resistant to sweat, so it seems suitable for both summer and winter. It applies evenly and doesn’t crease or get patchy as time passes, so I feel like it really does prevent tanning properly. I also use KANEBO’s Veil of Day and Cosme Decorté’s Airy Transparent, but I feel like Clé de Peau’s sunscreen prevents tanning the best. Veil of Day has a slightly runny texture and seemed weak against sweat, making me feel like I might tan, but I don’t have that concern with Clé de Peau’s sunscreen (though they’re not really comparable since the prices are about twice as different). *I’ve included a summary of my thoughts on the three department-store sunscreens I own in the image. It also seems good as a makeup primer. The pale pink texture turns transparent when applied, so it doesn’t brighten the skin tone, but it helps makeup adhere and gives a beautiful finish. So far, I haven’t experienced any pilling either. The downside is that it’s expensive.. But I did feel that expensive sunscreens really are different in their own way. There’s genuinely none of that tight, squeaky feeling you get with sunscreen.. Another thing that bothered me a little was the scent. Why does it smell citrusy..?? That was the only part that left me puzzled. I really would have preferred a floral scent.. But I felt that this sunscreen really does prevent tanning, so I think I’ll make an effort to repurchase it!

EspoirWater Splash Sun Cream Fresh SPF 50+ PA++++I bought this after hearing that someone who works outdoors in the summer used it and liked it. They say you should reapply sunscreen frequently, but once I've put on foundation, I can't be bothered to reapply it... After switching to this, I feel like I’m less likely to get sunburned even when I leave it on from the morning without reapplying! It’s not too sticky, so it works well with any foundation. I’ve tried other products too, but I always end up coming back to this one.

D'AlbaWaterfull Mild Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++◎ Great for anyone looking for a sunscreen that feels gentle on the skin and leaves a dewy finish Texture: Watery Spreads well Lightweight Feel: Feels refreshing, but still moisturizing and not prone to drying out the skin 《What I liked》 ・Chemical-free (does not contain UV absorbers) ・Gives a natural glow ・Natural translucence ・Doesn't leave a white cast or pill ・Doesn't interfere with a dewy foundation and leaves a beautiful finish. I can definitely see using it as a makeup base. 《Things to note》 The coverage is fairly light. If you're doing a full face of makeup, I think you'll need a separate primer or concealer. Best for natural makeup or everyday use. 【Summary】 Out of D'Alba's many sunscreens, this one was made with sensitive skin in mind. Its gentle, low-irritation feel is the main appeal.
