Cover Stain Perfecting Foundation SPF 35

I've been trying out different foundations lately, and I liked this one more than I expected. First of all, the coverage is pretty good, so one layer covers blemishes and redness to some extent, and adding one more layer only where needed gives a nice, clean finish. It doesn't feel like it goes on too thick either, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and looks fairly natural. I also liked that it faded naturally rather than wearing off in a really patchy way, and the staying power was decent. However, on days when my skin is really dry, it can look slightly cakey, so I'd recommend moisturizing well before applying it. Overall, the coverage is good and it gives a pretty finish, so I think I'll reach for it often as an everyday foundation. For the price, I was pretty satisfied.

Maybelline

Fit Me Luminous + Smooth Foundation SPF 18

Maybelline foundation review This is seriously so good…!! The coverage is good and it looks nice on the skin, so overall, this was a foundation I was really happy with. More than anything, considering the price, I think it’s seriously such a great value. It’s pretty affordable, but the coverage is good and the quality is better than I expected, so I liked it even more. The only thing is, the shade I bought didn’t match my skin very well, so I was really disappointed that I couldn’t use it properly that often T_T Still, I use it sometimes on days when I want a natural makeup look, and every time I do, I think the product itself is seriously pretty good. If the shade had matched me better, I think I would’ve used it way more often!! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a foundation that’s a great value with decent coverage :)

About Tone

Skin Layer Fit Foundation

I loved ittt. Every foundation I'd used before would always oxidize, so I had to touch up my makeup all the time and it was such a pain, but ever since I found this foundation, this is all I need and it stays the same even after I'm out having fun for hours!

Espoir

Pro Tailor Foundation Be Velvet

For dehydrated oily to dry skin, this is a really great foundation for summer!! It sets down super matte, and even if you sweat a lot in the summer, it doesn't break down and actually makes your skin look even better. The shades run really light, so buy one shade darker than what you normally use!!!

VDL Cosmetics

Cover Stain Perfecting Foundation SPF 35

This is my favorite foundation out of all the ones I’ve tried! The shade is perfect for people who wear shade 21, and I didn’t notice any oiliness or darkening. Highly recommend it for oily skin..!! It is a bit matte and sets quickly, though, so people with dry or combination-dehydrated skin may find it drying. In that case, mixing it with a moisturizer or a hydrating sunscreen works really well! About Tone

Skin Layer Fit Foundation

Pros 1. The shade is pretty 2. Doesn’t darken too badly. Even when it wears off, it seems to wear off prettily 3. The shade runs a little brighter than other brands’ shade 21 4. It looks pretty when used with About Tone concealer since the tones match Cons 1. The coverage is a little disappointing. (My skin isn’t in terribly bad condition, so it looked pretty after covering up my dark circles a little with concealer) 2. The viral hype seems way too intense, wow, it’s not really as life-changing as celebrities make it sound. It’s better than a basic safe pick, but it’s not a holy-grail item? Somewhere in between)? It is pretty, though, so I do reach for it often Since the shade runs a little bright, I applied another cushion or foundation in shade 21 around the outer parts of my face, and it was good
