EleganceLa Poudre Haute NuanceElegance La Poudre Haute Nuance Luxueuse VIII It instantly made my face look brighter and more glamorous It holds up well without breaking down, and I opened it before summer and used it a ton this summer It has good coverage, makes my skin look clear and brighter, and the packaging is super cute, I love it I totally get why it's so popular Anyway, I have no complaints about how it feels to use, and I'd often seen people say it breaks easily, but...this morning I hit pan on my La Poudre & it cracked... I was using it with a puff, but it seems like it might break even more, so I'm thinking I'll use a brush from now on. But it is fairly pricey, so I thought it would've been perfect if it didn't break so easily! That's why I gave it 4 stars. But I have no complaints about the finish, and I'll probably repurchase.

GivenchyPrisme Libre Setting and Finishing Loose PowderI've been using this because it worked well with Dior's liquid foundation. But it can make some areas look oddly bright, so I'm not sure about it. Silky-smooth and matte, good for summer. I'm aiming for a higher level because I want flawless, porcelain-like skin, so 4.5 stars. Maybe I'll realize how good this one is after trying other products.

ShiseidoEssence Skin Setting PowderI have all the shades. It keeps my skin feeling moisturized while leaving the surface silky smooth. Maybe it's because of the skincare benefits, but my skin feels softer when I use this powder. 01 Hydrating GLOW I wanted to use it with the Essence Skin Glow Foundation, so I first bought 01, the glowy version. The particles are fine, and it doesn't take away too much glow, so it makes my skin look beautiful. 02 Smoothing MATTE I was so impressed with 01 that I bought the matte version too. It's perfect for those times of year when leaving some glow makes my skin look more "greasy" than "glowy," which I don't like. 03 Pink Hydrating GLOW I bought this when it was restocked in July. It's a subtle pink shade with shimmer and pearl. The natural flush of color and pearly radiance create a glamorous, cute finish. That said, the pearl isn't too noticeable, so it looks very elegant. I love all of them. The only thing is, it's fairly small and contains just 7g of powder, so I think I'll go through it pretty quickly.

Laura MercierMatte Radiance Baked Powder CompactIt lasts so long, I feel like I could use it forever! It gives an elegant glow rather than looking super glittery. The pearl particles are very fine, but I feel like they make my pores stand out a little 💦 The powder gets all around the compact when I apply it, but once it's on my skin, it doesn't crease easily and seems to last well. It's about the size of my palm and nearly 2 cm thick, so it's not great for carrying around.

DecorteLoose PowderI always use this after foundation, and it gives natural coverage without making my face look white, so it’s really useful ☺️ Also, foundation alone can sometimes start to separate, but applying the powder helps keep it from breaking down!

DecorteLoose Powder
The super popular Decorte Loose Powder in shade 101 It's one of my favorite powders! The four types of powder softly blur pores and dullness, leaving skin with a natural glow and clarity. I have oily skin, but it keeps the surface of my skin smooth and silky, and even when my makeup breaks down over time, it still looks nice! The powder has a moist texture, so I feel like it adheres well too. I usually use it as a finishing layer over liquid foundation or cushion foundation. I also like it for quick outings because applying it over sunscreen gives my skin a soft, beautiful look! The puff is nice and fluffy, and I love that it lets me apply plenty of powder. I recommend working the powder into the puff first, then gently applying it to your skin for a beautiful finish. I bought it a year ago and alternate between this and the same Decorte Loose Powder in shade 00 depending on the day, but I still have plenty left. At first, it might feel a little expensive! But it's very cost-effective. Decorte powders come in so many varieties that it's hard to choose, but if you're unsure, I recommend this one ⟡.·

This is one of my favorite powders. It has a lightweight, moist texture and leaves my skin silky smooth. 101 has a beautiful glow, and the way it catches the light softly blurs and covers dullness, uneven tone, and pores. It's amazing how it looks beautiful even when I just slap it on without much thought.. Since the powder is moist, it's less likely to break down from dryness. It also holds up well against sweat and oil, and while it isn't completely budge-proof, it still looks nice as it wears off. It's a versatile powder that leaves your skin looking naturally beautiful and translucent, so I recommend it.

EleganceLa Poudre Haute Nuance
This is 09 (IX Luminous). It gives a delicate, elegant glow! The pearly radiance makes my complexion look so much brighter. And it has great coverage too! It blurs and corrects pores, uneven skin tone, etc. Applying it very lightly gives you amazing translucence. Since it has such high coverage, it can easily look too white or cakey, so using a brush to apply it lightly instead of a puff works nicely. It also does an amazing job of resisting breakdown and staying silky smooth, and it didn't budge even when I wore a mask in summer. It holds up well against sweat and oil. But if I finish my whole face with this powder, it can look too glowy and make areas with rough skin texture stand out in a bad way. So in my case, I use it together with other powders. I love how it gives a glamorous glow and a bright finish!

If you don't usually use much powder, it's also great for preventing shine in summer. If you prefer pressed powder, you may notice the moist feel more when comparing the two. It gives a finish that softly blurs pores, without looking too heavy. I think it's also easy to use for anyone who likes a natural, bare-skin finish. I got a nicer finish by applying it lightly with a large brush rather than the included puff. If using the puff, I recommend tapping off the excess once before applying so you don't use too much. It barely goes down at all even after a year of use, so I think it's a good powder to have on hand.

DasiqueSoft Cotton PowderI bought this at the flagship store in Korea to hit the minimum spend. I've never really been a fan of pressed powders, and as expected, this one didn't work for me either. It's fine for using on my forehead, but when I try to touch up around my nose, too little makes my makeup crease and too much leaves a white cast... so I stopped using it after a while. It's pretty hard, and I wanted to use a brush to apply it to specific areas, but it's difficult to even pick up with a brush. Also, the included sponge was hard to use. Dasique is one of my favorite brands, so this was a little disappointing.

I had it applied at the counter and bought 01, which is supposed to give the most glow. I was torn between 101, 00, and 01, but ended up liking 01 because it has shimmer and also brightens my complexion. It holds up fairly well against sweat, and the moisturizing power is average. It's not bad, but nothing about it really stands out, so I won't be repurchasing.

When it comes to powder, it has to be Decorte! It’s popular for a reason. The powder is so fine that a little does fly around when you pat it on with the puff, but it doesn’t really bother me. It hides my pores beautifully. And it seriously never runs out. Maybe it’s actually multiplying on its own lol I’d like to try a different shade when I finish it, but it just won’t go down, so I still haven’t been able to buy one. My favorite thing is that it doesn’t dry out my cheeks even when I apply a lot. Also, the puff is big and fluffy, so it goes on beautifully without messing up my base! Applying it with a brush around the sides of my nose helps my makeup last nicely. It’s one of the pricier powders I own, but it’s such good value that I’ll buy it again when I run out.

It also contains skincare ingredients, so personally, this is a powder I really like. I bought the mini size, but it's so big I was like, is this the regular size? It's more than enough. 100 points including value for money, would repurchase It doesn't have any coverage or shimmer, so I use primer and highlighter to cover those roles.

Right now I use it for skincare, when I sleep at night or go out with no makeup on. It definitely feels gentle on my skin, and even while I’m wearing it, it feels like it’s making my skin more beautiful, so I love it as skincare. It also makes my skin feel soft when I apply it. So far, this Shiseido powder is the only powder that gives both the plump feel of an emulsion and the smooth feel you get after applying powder. I recommend it as skincare. However, when I used it as a powder over my makeup, it started looking cakey on me right away, so I won’t repurchase it as a cosmetic. Especially since my skin tends to get dry in winter, the powder started separating before noon when I wore it during winter. I dust it on when I go out on no-makeup days, and it slightly brightens my skin tone and acts as a barrier for my skin, so I recommend it! But honestly, it’s a little pricey if that’s the only way you’re going to use it. I recommend it for anyone who wants to make sure their skin is fully cared for on no-makeup days!

I picked up the new shade IX. The fine pearl particles are beautiful and give my skin a glowy finish! The glow isn't over the top, so it doesn't look flashy, and when I use it in the evening, it also gets rid of any dullness, so it's become a favorite of mine!! I've repurchased La Poudre Haute Nuance more than five times and always keep a backup on hand—it's one of my go-to powders! There's also a wide range of shades, so I think you'll find one you love 😊
