AlbionStudio Milk FoundationI was lost when it came to foundation for about six months, and this is the one I finally bought🩷 Before this, I was using a DIOR foundation. The shade matched me really well and I liked it, but some days it felt a little drying, so I spent about six months looking for something that would be a bit less drying. During that time, I tried samples of various foundations I was curious about, like DECORTÉ Zen Wear, SK-II, and SHISEIDO. Out of all of them, the one whose feel I liked best was Albion's Studio Milk Foundation! It glides on thinly and smoothly, yet it naturally covers the imperfections that bother me. Rather than thoroughly concealing everything for a perfected look, I prefer how it leaves a thin veil that makes my skin look beautiful. And what I especially liked was how it doesn't dry out my skin easily and how my skin doesn't feel stressed after removing it. My skin is thin and prone to dryness, so I'm really happy that it feels less "tired" after I remove my foundation. After trying all sorts of things for six months, I finally found one that made me think, "I'd buy the full-size version of this"🩷 So far, it's definitely a favorite!

DecorteTone Perfecting Concealer PaletteMy favorite concealer I've ever used! I've had really dark blue under-eye circles since birth, and I've tried concealers from DIOR, Covermark, and others. Since single-shade types have a uniform color, even after applying them, the darkest parts of my circles would often still show through a little. This comes with four shades, and being able to adjust the color depending on how dark my circles are and where they are makes it so easy to use! I layer a few different shades over my under-eye circles. Rather than completely covering them with a thick layer, I like how it blends in with my natural skin and makes my circles less noticeable in a natural-looking way. It doesn't dry out easily, and I also love that creasing isn't much of an issue even after some time has passed. My skin is thin, so layering too much concealer around my eyes can easily look messy, but this makes it relatively easy to get a natural-looking finish. I've tried all kinds of concealers, but so far this is my favorite. I think it's especially easy to use for people like me whose under-eye circles vary in darkness and are hard to cover nicely with a single shade. Even though it has four shades, I've actually only figured out how to use about two of them so far 😂 Even so, it's easier to adjust than a single-shade concealer, and I really like it.

DecorteLoose PowderI always use this after foundation, and it gives natural coverage without making my face look white, so it’s really useful ☺️ Also, foundation alone can sometimes start to separate, but applying the powder helps keep it from breaking down!

DecorteLoose Powder▶︎Decorte Loose Powder ✂-------------------- \A light-diffusing face powder that melts right in/ The moment you apply it to your skin, it feels airy and light yet still moisturizing, with absolutely no powdery look✨ It naturally blurs pores and fine lines too, giving you a finish that looks like you put on a soft-focus filter. 00 translucent gives an elegant glow and makes your skin look brighter. I was worried that powder would make my skin look powdery, but that didn't happen at all💜 It doesn't break down easily even after hours, and I'm so happy that it doesn't crease much even when I'm wearing a mask🥹 The case feels so luxurious too, just as you'd expect from a department store cosmetic💎 When my makeup looks good in the morning, my mood is different all day, so it really made me realize how important base makeup is. I've only ever used tinted powders before, but this gives your skin a naturally translucent look, so if you haven't tried it yet, I definitely want you to give it a go🫶

ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30This seems like it would suit people who like light coverage and a natural, bare-skin finish. The coverage isn't all that high, so it's reassuring to use concealer as well on areas that bother you. Especially when I was concerned about my pores, I found it a little difficult to cover them with this alone. It didn't look too bad as it wore off, but I did get the impression that it breaks down more easily in summer or when you sweat. The dewy, moisturized glow looks beautiful, so I felt it would be good for people with dry skin or as a winter makeup base.

FweeSpa Glowing UV Tone-Up Base SPF 50+The light blue one is apparently the moisturizing type for dry skin, but I had no particular issues using it in the summer. It was recommended to me by someone I know with dry skin, so I do think it's true that it suits dry skin better. In the summer, it wears off normally in areas that get oily. The finish in the photo is with Fwee + WAKEMAKE foundation. The coverage isn't strong, but the tone-up effect is great, so I can totally go out with just this.

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationAlbion, known for its pre-lotion emulsions, came out with an emulsion-inspired foundation, so I gave it a try ♡ It's so fresh and hydrating that it's labeled a "foundation/daytime emulsion," and it leaves your skin with a "milky glow," almost like it does right after skincare. I also love that you can use it without a primer, and it has solid coverage too, so I had no complaints ◎ With dry skin, some foundations can make it look flaky or parched and even make you look older, but this didn't do that at all, so it's a favorite of mine ♡ With this level of moisture, I thought it would be even easier to use during the colder months when dryness is more of a concern.

DecorteComfort Day Mist Set & ProtectI'd had my eye on this for ages and finally bought it the other day! First off, the mist smells sooo good~! The round packaging is cute too. Most importantly, it feels great to use◎ Quite a lot comes out with one pump, but the mist is fine, so no problem. It dries pretty quickly too. It keeps my makeup in place and seems to help prevent dryness too. It's now one of my go-to setting sprays.

DecorteLoose PowderThe super popular Decorte Loose Powder in shade 101 It's one of my favorite powders! The four types of powder softly blur pores and dullness, leaving skin with a natural glow and clarity. I have oily skin, but it keeps the surface of my skin smooth and silky, and even when my makeup breaks down over time, it still looks nice! The powder has a moist texture, so I feel like it adheres well too. I usually use it as a finishing layer over liquid foundation or cushion foundation. I also like it for quick outings because applying it over sunscreen gives my skin a soft, beautiful look! The puff is nice and fluffy, and I love that it lets me apply plenty of powder. I recommend working the powder into the puff first, then gently applying it to your skin for a beautiful finish. I bought it a year ago and alternate between this and the same Decorte Loose Powder in shade 00 depending on the day, but I still have plenty left. At first, it might feel a little expensive! But it's very cost-effective. Decorte powders come in so many varieties that it's hard to choose, but if you're unsure, I recommend this one ⟡.·

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur N\The ultimate primer for going foundation-free! A holy grail I've been repurchasing for 4–5 years/ I usually go foundation-free and finish with just primer + powder, and my main skin concerns are dryness and dullness. I love using d'Alba sunscreen for everyday wear, but for my base makeup on “special days,” like weekends or when I'm going out, I always use this Clé de Peau Beauté Voile Correcteur N. When I apply it, it naturally brightens and smooths out my skin, blurring uneven tone and dullness and making my whole complexion look even. It doesn't completely cover large dark spots or acne scars, but I absolutely love how it makes my bare skin itself look more beautiful. My skin doesn't feel dry at all during the day, and the moisturized feeling lasts. It spreads really well, so when I use it mainly on weekends, one tube lasts me about a year. It does come with a luxury beauty price tag, but considering how long it lasts and the finish, it's an investment I can justify. I've loved and used it for the past 4–5 years, and it's definitely a must-have I want to keep using.

DecorteLoose PowderThis is one of my favorite powders. It has a lightweight, moist texture and leaves my skin silky smooth. 101 has a beautiful glow, and the way it catches the light softly blurs and covers dullness, uneven tone, and pores. It's amazing how it looks beautiful even when I just slap it on without much thought.. Since the powder is moist, it's less likely to break down from dryness. It also holds up well against sweat and oil, and while it isn't completely budge-proof, it still looks nice as it wears off. It's a versatile powder that leaves your skin looking naturally beautiful and translucent, so I recommend it.

EleganceLa Poudre Haute NuanceThis is 09 (IX Luminous). It gives a delicate, elegant glow! The pearly radiance makes my complexion look so much brighter. And it has great coverage too! It blurs and corrects pores, uneven skin tone, etc. Applying it very lightly gives you amazing translucence. Since it has such high coverage, it can easily look too white or cakey, so using a brush to apply it lightly instead of a puff works nicely. It also does an amazing job of resisting breakdown and staying silky smooth, and it didn't budge even when I wore a mask in summer. It holds up well against sweat and oil. But if I finish my whole face with this powder, it can look too glowy and make areas with rough skin texture stand out in a bad way. So in my case, I use it together with other powders. I love how it gives a glamorous glow and a bright finish!

ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30It's a very sheer foundation without much coverage, so I think any unevenness will stand out unless you use it when your bare skin is in good condition. Using a primer that covers uneven skin tone works great. I don't really like heavy foundations, so personally I like this one because it gives a natural, glowy finish!

DecorteLoose PowderThe powder is finely milled and has a slightly moist texture. If you use powder regularly, it seems especially easy to use for dry skin or during winter. If you don't usually use much powder, it's also great for preventing shine in summer. If you prefer pressed powder, you may notice the moist feel more when comparing the two. It gives a finish that softly blurs pores, without looking too heavy. I think it's also easy to use for anyone who likes a natural, bare-skin finish. I got a nicer finish by applying it lightly with a large brush rather than the included puff. If using the puff, I recommend tapping off the excess once before applying so you don't use too much. It barely goes down at all even after a year of use, so I think it's a good powder to have on hand.

DecorteLoose PowderIt feels silky and lightweight but doesn't dry out my skin easily, and it makes my skin look softly smooth! It doesn't look very powdery or cakey, and it naturally blurs my pores for an elegant finish✨ I'll repurchase♡

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur NIt naturally brightened my skin while softly blurring pores and uneven texture! It felt moisturizing and smooth, spread easily, and gave me an elegant, glowy finish without looking cakey, which is a big plus. I’d buy it again!

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationThe glow looks beautiful, and it gives natural coverage. After applying it, blending it in with a puff helped it adhere better to my skin and gave me a nicer finish. It might take a little trial and error to find the right combination. I felt that pairing it with a more moisturizing base helped it adhere better and wear off more evenly. Since it's a slightly moisturizing liquid foundation, if you use powder to finish, a lightweight, silky type seems to work better than a moisturizing one. With a moisturizing powder, I felt like it broke down a little more easily.

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationI recommend this for anyone who has things they want to conceal on their skin. I have oily skin with constant pores & acne issues💦 It's not red acne or anything, my skin is just bumpy and uneven. So I don't really like the glowy & bare-skin look you often get with the serum foundations that are popular right now... Plus, since I have oily skin with a lot of sebum, anything with a runny texture just slides right off. (lol) This Albion foundation has a pretty substantial texture. That doesn't mean it's hard to spread, and it's very easy to apply, so much so that applying it with your fingers is actually recommended. I put about half a pump on my fingers and spread it over my face, then tap it in with an &be sponge (dampened with water), and it provides plenty of coverage for pores and mild acne. It also holds up extremely well. On workdays I wear foundation for about 10 hours on average, and with everything I'd used before, by the time I left work my bare skin tone would be showing through completely, but with this one, I felt the coverage lasted just fine as long as I touched it up by patting on some powder. People with dry skin might not like this firmer texture. I think mixing in a serum might help. I don't really recommend it for anyone who likes a glowy, bare-skin look. It looks fairly close to bare skin for a matte foundation, but you definitely can't call it a natural skin finish. If anyone has the same skin type and concerns as me, this is a foundation I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

Banila CoPrime Primer ClassicIt has a light texture that spreads smoothly and doesn't feel thick on the skin. It's easy to blend out and doesn't leave much stickiness or heaviness behind. Rather than completely filling in pores for a totally flat finish, it feels like it subtly blurs uneven texture and smooths the skin's surface. It also provides some pore coverage, and makes the base look smooth when foundation is layered over it. Even though it has a smooth, dry finish, it doesn't feel drying, and I feel like it helps keep oils from coming through and causing makeup to break down over time, so I personally found it easy to use during the summer. This primer is easy to use when you want to smooth out your skin without looking cakey and keep oils from breaking down your makeup, rather than thoroughly filling in your pores.

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur NI've repurchased this product many times. It's my go-to base makeup for workdays. It's a soft cream, so I apply it with my fingers. After applying, I press it in with both hands to help it blend. Then I dust on Clé de Peau Beauté powder or a white-to-skin-tone powder from another brand, and it gives me a properly made-up finish without looking cakey. It's excellent. I've tried base makeup from all kinds of brands over the years, but this is my favorite.
