Every year, I rely on this as my summer cleanser for the season. Maybe it's because of the noni? It feels cool and refreshing to use and has a fresh scent, which I like because it wakes me up and makes me feel alert on hot, groggy mornings. I have dry skin, so it's hard for me to use in fall and winter, but if you have oily skin, it seems like you could use it year-round. I like this product, but since I only use it for a limited time and it takes forever to use up, it's not like I repurchase it over and over...

Mung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing Foam

This is a face wash I make sure to use once a week. It gets rid of dirt, and when I'm bothered by clogged pores or roughness, I work up a lot of lather and gently wash my face a little longer, and it gets better. It doesn't irritate my skin either, so it's a cleansing foam I can use without worrying even when my skin is acting up. I keep a backup because I get anxious when I don't have it. It's not like it has an immediate effect on anything, but it's gentle and still cleans well, so it's a product I can keep using.

Ouchi de Esthe Deep Clay Facial Cleanser

The cleansing power is strong, so it's great at getting rid of clogged pores and sebaceous plugs! But it also made my skin feel dry, and it stripped away so much oil that the next day's oiliness was... I moisturized thoroughly after using it and that still happened, so I think it'll only work for certain people. I won't repurchase. I think it'd be good for people with oily skin! Since it's a clay cleanser, the texture is about as thick as a firm mud mask.

I've repurchased this so many times with my own money—it's a favorite! It comes out as foam, so there's no need to lather it up, and the foam is more light and fluffy than dense and bouncy. It feels slightly cooling and leaves my skin feeling refreshed, so it seems like it'd be good for people with oily skin like me 🙆‍♀️

Amino Moist Moist Milky Cleansing

I repurchased this over 10 times—it was my go-to cleanser for years! I've tried all kinds of cleansers, but no matter how many times I strayed, I always ended up coming back to this one, and repurchased it over 10 times. What I liked most was how my skin felt after washing. It's a milk cleanser, and I love that my skin still feels moisturized afterward. Even during times of year when pollen or UV rays make my skin prone to stinging, it was relatively easy to use on my skin and gave me the peace of mind of knowing, "I can always go back to this for now." You can get it for around 1,500 yen, and for how it feels to use, I think it's really good value for money. I also like the simple packaging and how easy it is to keep by the sink. On the other hand, having to double cleanse is a bit of a hassle. Also, since it's a milk cleanser, I feel like it takes a little longer to work it into my makeup and emulsify compared to oil cleansers and the like. I've tried various high-end department store cleansers too, but I kept coming back to this product, thinking, "For this price, this moisturized feeling after washing is more than enough." I'm currently using a cleanser from M-mark Series while I look for something that suits me even better, but Minon was such a favorite that I used over 10 bottles of it.

Moisturizing & Brightening Rice Cleansing Foam

I had high hopes because it was rice-based, but...hmm, overall it was kinda meh 🥲 I like rice-based skincare, so I tried it expecting it to feel gentle. The first thing that bothered me was the scent. To me, it smelled like household cleaner, and honestly, I really couldn't stand it. I'd assumed it would have a gentle, rice-like scent, so this was a little disappointing. The texture is creamy, but both the lather and how my skin felt after washing were just “pretty average, I guess?” It seems to contain hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and other ingredients, but I didn't notice any particular difference while using it. Another minor annoyance is the packaging. The tube is pretty stiff and the opening is narrow, so it comes out in a super-thin string, which is a bit of a hassle every time 😂 It seems like you can also use it kind of like a face mask cleanser, but since I don't like the scent in the first place, I can't say I'm eager to use it... It's not so much that it's bad, but more that there wasn't anything about it that made me think, “It has to be this one!” Would not repurchase △

Ouchi de Esthe Gel Facial Cleanser

The old packaging? wasn't listed, so I'm reviewing it here. I only have the old packaging & have backups, but it's very drying and irritating, so lately I've stopped using it frequently. When the clogged pores around my nose or the roughness on my chin bother me, I use it as a mask in the bath and it clears the clogs, but it does kind of feel like it's damaging my skin. Lately, cleansing balm gets the clogs out, so I use this as more of a rescue treatment in the summer or before my period, when I'm like, wow, my pores are super clogged.

Cleansing Gel

If you’re going to buy just one thing from Environ Skin Care, I recommend this. It isn’t harsh, so it’s an item that will (probably) work for anyone, and as you keep using it, it really changes your skin texture, so I can’t live without it 😭✨ I have oily skin with a lot of sebum and enlarged pores, but as I’ve continued using it, I feel like the unevenness of my skin has improved. The texture is a gel, which you apply to wet skin and wash in circular motions. It also lathers if you add a little water. It’s about 8 parts gel to 2 parts foam. I like gel face washes that aren’t too cleansing, so this is perfect for me! Also, even though it’s called Cleansing Gel, I basically use it as a face wash. Apparently it can remove cosmetics that wash off with soap and sunscreen, but I think it’s safer to use a makeup remover for makeup so you don’t get buildup in your pores. If your pores get clogged from sebum, I think the cleansing step is important, so definitely consider this one. I really recommend it 🫶🏻

Bought this because I wanted to take care of the pores on my nose. The first time I used it, I washed my whole face with it and the skin around my eyes got super dry, which was awful, so now I only use it on my nose and around my chin. It doesn't cause any particular irritation, so it's good for using around my nose ◎ Not sure if it's actually breaking down the pore plugs, but I feel like using it is better than not using it at all..

Neither good nor bad. It didn't have any positive or negative effect on my skin, so I think it's pretty gentle. My skin didn't feel tight at all after washing, so I think it has a convenient level of cleansing power, though it does feel slightly grainy.

It's a cleanser, but I use it as a morning face wash, and I'm on my third bottle. It's very effective at taking care of white sebaceous plugs, and with continued use, I've noticed a visible reduction in them. Recommended way to use it⬇️ Since it's a thick gel, apply it to areas where sebaceous plugs bother you, like your nose and cheeks, then wash in circular motions while gradually adding a little water to emulsify it. Once the gel softens, spread it over your entire face and gently rinse it off with lukewarm water. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed but not tight or irritated, and it's super easy to use, so I'd recommend it for all skin types!

This is my third tube. I use it once or twice a week as a special treatment. When I use this, it feels like it really strips away all the grime, leaving my skin feeling super clean and refreshed. The slightly larger scrub particles in the clay feel really good too. It's easy to use too—just apply it directly to your face, gently massage it in, lather it up with wet hands, and rinse. I hate the whole "lather it up with a sponge~" process more than anything in the world, so I absolutely love that I don't have to do that with this

When I bought another product, they let me try the tester, and I really liked the texture and how my skin felt afterward, so I bought the full-size version. It comes as a powder, and you add a little water and lather it up. The powder feels a bit like a scrub, and I like how it feels like it's getting rid of the roughness on my skin. I like a refreshing, clean finish after washing, and this leaves my skin feeling exactly that way—fresh and smooth—so it's one of my favorites.

I use this every day. It's enough to remove my usual makeup, since I don't wear foundation or mascara. It's a blue gel with exfoliating particles, and I like how massaging it in circles around my nose and other areas feels like it clears the gunk out of my pores and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I have mildly dry skin, but my skin doesn't feel tight after washing. It's a little pricey for a face wash, but the large size lasts quite a while, and since it doubles as a makeup remover, I think it's actually not bad value for money. Oil cleanser and mascara remover are a must when I'm wearing heavier makeup, but I'm very satisfied with it for everyday use and think I'll continue using it for a long time.

I have oily skin, and I like that it thoroughly removes oil and stickiness without making my skin feel tight after washing. Even though it doesn't feel tight, the surface of my skin feels sleek and smooth. The cleansing foam lathers up quickly if you use a foaming net. The foam doesn't seem particularly fine, bouncy, or voluminous, but I didn't feel any friction while washing, and it didn't feel irritating either. Most of all, the foam rinses away quickly, so it's easy to wash off in a flash even on busy mornings! It's fragrance-free, with no noticeable raw ingredient smell, so I don't think there's anything unusual about the scent. One issue is that the product itself is pretty thick, so it's a little hard to squeeze out of the container 💦 I use about 1 cm each time, and I think it's pretty cost-effective too. It seems especially suitable for people with oily or combination skin who want a refreshing cleanse but hate that tight feeling. It cleans well without any noticeable irritation or dryness, so I think it's an easy-to-use cleanser for all skin types.

I've used tons of face washes for dry skin, sensitive skin, and so on, but with my skin, every single one made it feel tight immediately after washing, and this is the only one that didn't. I definitely want people with similar skin to try it! It has mild cleansing power and leaves my skin feeling moisturized yet refreshed, and even a small amount works up into a rich, fluffy lather, so I can wash gently. I can use it with confidence not only in the dry winter, but also in spring when pollen makes my skin more prone to flare-ups, and I feel like it's easy to use year-round. I want to keep using it forever. This is my holy grail face wash.

I've repurchased this gel cleanser so many times. I've been using it for over 10 years. I really love how easy it is to use without lathering, how it leaves my skin feeling non-tight, and yet still gives the feeling of thoroughly stripping away excess sebum. Best of all, it's cheap and incredibly easy to get. I'm planning to stick with it for life.
