About Zinc Pentadecene Tricarboxylate
Zinc Pentadecene Tricarboxylate is a zinc salt.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to prevent powder ingredients from hardening into lumps and to keep them flowing evenly, to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, and to lower surface tension so that raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, it may be used at up to 1% based on the zinc content of the finished product.[2]
