About Zinc Coco-Sulfate

Zinc Coco-Sulfate is the zinc salt of sulfated coconut alcohol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, it may be used at up to 1% based on the zinc content of the finished product.[2]
