About Zinc Borate
Zinc Borate is an inorganic salt composed of zinc oxide and boric oxide in varying proportions.[1] Its solubility and charge state vary depending on the components forming the salt and the formula’s acidity, which also affects how it interacts with other raw materials. In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit microbial growth.[3] It cannot be used in cosmetics in Europe.[2]
