About Wheat Germamidopropylamine Oxide
Wheat Germamidopropylamine Oxide is a tertiary amine oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help it last longer.[2] It is also used to reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother hair, help water-insoluble ingredients disperse more evenly in the water phase, and lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
