About Undecylenoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen
Undecylenoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen is a condensation product of undecylenoyl acid chloride and hydrolyzed collagen.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and to reduce tangling and rough feel in hair for smoother conditioning.[2] It is also used to condition the skin's surface, leaving it soft and smooth, and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
