About Undecylenamide Mea
Undecylenamide MEA is a mixture of ethanolamides of undecylenic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, and increase the amount of foam and help it resist collapsing.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and rough feel to leave hair smooth, lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly, and control the viscosity and flow of a formulation.[2]
