About Trisebacin

Trisebacin is a triester of glycerin and sebacic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, replenish an oily feel to the skin or hair after cleansing, and leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of formulations.[2]
