About Trimethylsilyl Alanine Pg-Propyl Methylsilanediol Crosspolymer
Trimethylsilyl Alanine Pg-Propyl Methylsilanediol Crosspolymer is a crosslinked polymer with a network structure formed between repeating units.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly; create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed; and smooth and condition hair by reducing tangling and roughness.[1] It is also used to help sebum and impurities be rinsed away with water and to condition the skin’s surface, leaving it soft and smooth.[1]
