About Trilactin

Trilactin is a triester of glycerin and lactic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to attract moisture to the formulation and skin surface to help maintain moisturization, help retain moisture in the skin and reduce a dry feeling, and leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
