About Triethylamine

Triethylamine is an individual ingredient used in cosmetics.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to keep emulsions of water and oil from separating easily.[1] In Europe, a maximum concentration of 2.5% is set for leave-on products, while no separate maximum concentration is set for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
