About Tri-C12-15 Pareth-10 Phosphate

Tri-C12-15 Pareth-10 Phosphate is a complex mixture of triesters of phosphoric acid and C12-15 Pareth-10.[1] The number 10 at the end of the name refers to the average number of added ethylene oxide units. It changes the balance between water-loving and oil-loving parts, resulting in differences in cleansing power, emulsifying ability, and sensory feel. In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and disperse evenly.[2]
