About Tosylamide
Tosylamide is a compound containing an amide bond.[1] Its properties and sensory feel in a finished product may vary according to the concentration used, the ingredients used with it, the formulation’s acidity, and manufacturing conditions. In cosmetics, it is used to add flexibility so films or polymer layers do not become excessively hard.[1] It cannot be used in cosmetics in Europe.[2]
