Tipa-Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer is a copolymer of ethylhexyl acrylate and the triisopropanolamine salt of one or more monomers of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, or their simple esters.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application.[3] In Europe, the maximum level is 2.5% in leave-on products, with no separate maximum concentration specified for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
