About Thymus Quinquecostatus Oil
Thymus Quinquecostatus Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the whole plant of thyme.[1] The volatile components obtained from the whole thyme plant contribute to the fragrance's initial impression and lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more lightly than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reaction with oxygen and to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
