About Thiohistidine

Thiohistidine is an ingredient containing both an amino group and an acidic group.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, lighten color on hair or skin, and bind metal ions to reduce their effects on color, fragrance, and formula stability.[1]
