About Thioctoyl Tripeptide-35
Thioctoyl Tripeptide-35 is a raw material obtained by reacting thioctic acid with Tripeptide-35.[1] The number 35 at the end of the name is only an identifying number used to distinguish different peptides; it does not indicate the amount used or rank of efficacy. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the rate at which formula ingredients oxidize through reaction with oxygen, to lighten color on the hair or skin, and to reduce tangling and a rough feel in hair, leaving it smooth.[2] It is also used to help protect the skin from external factors.[2]
