About Terpinolene
Terpinolene is a fragrance ingredient used to add or adjust the scent or taste of a product.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add fragrance to a product or adjust the characteristic odor of raw ingredients.[4] In Korea, it cannot be used in cosmetics when it corresponds to terpinolene with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L.[2] In Europe, only raw materials with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
