About Tea-Taurine Myristyl Aspartate
Tea-Taurine Myristyl Aspartate is an ester in which portions derived from an acid and an alcohol are joined.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce tangling and roughness in hair for a softer, smoother finish and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1] In Europe, the maximum concentration is 2.5% in leave-on products, while no separate maximum concentration is specified for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
