About Tea-Taurine Lauroyl Methyl Beta-Alaninate

Tea-Taurine Lauroyl Methyl Beta-Alaninate is an organic salt.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, the maximum level is 2.5% in leave-on products, with no separate maximum concentration specified for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no higher than 50 μg/kg.[2]
