About Tea-Glyceryl Dimaleate
TEA-Glyceryl Dimaleate is the triethanolamine salt of the diester of glycerin and maleic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother grooming.[3] In Europe, it is limited to 2.5% in leave-on products, while no separate maximum concentration is specified for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
